Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon Review (Nintendo 3DS) (9.2)  by
So with this game coming out relative soon-ish, I figured we may as well start officially discussing it. And the first thing to discuss is... a local multiplayer mode?! Straight from the official site itself.

With so many new places to explore, all new ways to capture ghosts, and a brand new local multiplayer mode, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon is another star turn for Mario's heroic brother—and it's only on Nintendo 3DS.

Do we know anything about this mode?! I kind of think it might be something / exactly like the Nintendo Land Luigi's Mansion multiplayer mode. Hopefully it doesn't require all participants to have a cartridge...

This is a game that is totally on the replay list! MGS3 and Kid Icarus are up first though.

New 3DS was pretty much worth it just for making me want to go back and play through everything again.

@Super_Conzo Yeah, it's pretty wordy in the beginning, but it'll get better.

Let me know if you want to try out the multiplayer sometime, it's fun stuff.

I'd be down for more multi at some point. Such a great multi mode.

Yuck. Got absolutely chinned by the gardener ghosts and have no desire to replay that mission. I mean, exploring is kinda fun but the slow pace doesn't encourage a replay. A common complaint, I know. I'll try again tomorrow.

I like this game (can't deny it is a joy to behold) but I feel like there is something missing. Something in the gameplay just isn't hooking me yet.

Maybe I'll try my luck with the multiplayer.

Finding the Snowy Mansion to be the most entertaining so far.
It's odd, the puzzles are fun and very kid-friendly however some of the bosses are taking me to the wire!

Have to post back to the rental company soon so probs wont finish this but I feel like I've sucked/blown everything I possibly can. It's a sweet game and Luigi is so watchable.
