After not getting the second DS Fire Emblem game it seemed Nintendo wasn't sure about FE in the West. So it's nice to see them not only release the game but really putting some effort into the release.
Not yet. We know it takes place after Shadow Dragon, since Marth is known as a legendary hero. But details are scarce on how far into the "future" Awakening takes place in.
Yea, that's about as much as I could glean as well. I think I may buy this gaaaaame!! Does anyone know if there are multiple save slots so that I could do one playthrough sans perma-death and then one with should I feel masochistic enough?
I played through the demo and enjoyed it...I'm glad that they didn't just throw you into the fray without much help (Ni no Kuni demo, I'm looking your way). I did it on hard and lost two characters (the archer and the healer) because I was tired and careless.
I'm looking forward to playing the full version in a couple of weeks!
I've gotta get this, it'll be the first FE I buy and I'm excited!
Which place has this cheapest, though? GameStop is lame and stopped taking preorders so the art book's out. Zero, you usually know where to get stuff cheap, so help me out, brother!
I think the game is going to be priced the same across the board during launch, no? Unless you do something crazy and go to Wal*Mart and get it for $39.96 or the like.
I'm hoping they get it today... but I'm sure it would still be a struggle to get retailers who stick by the original release date to just hand it out early. But it clearly says on the website that it's out.
@VofEscaflowne I'm curious as to why Nintendo is releasing this game on a Monday as opposed to their usual Sunday. I'd like to be able to wake up Monday and download it.
