Did anyone else pick this up?! I got it and played about a half hour, it's pretty neat! Gameplaywise it feels almost like an old school Castlevania but with the new Metroidvania progression... of course the characters and such are Indiana Jones inspired. There are all kinds of secrets and stuff too, although at times it can be a bit obtuse as to where to head next. Hmm, and the buttons are weird, especially for menus, they are reversed from how I would usually expect them and it makes navigating menus a chore. Otherwise, it's a pretty neat game so far.

i just picked this game up on wii ware...had some Nintendo Points to burn.

Been playing it for 2hrs now... wandering aimlessly..

I think I need a helmet to progress under a waterfall. I'm very early in this game but there isn't many other places for me to go right now.

I got stuck there for a while. I'm guessing it is accessable to you, but you're going to have to do some exploring.

...Also I still haven't gotten back to this. I have been distracted, making sure that Stephen Walks the Path.

Ha, I was just about to start this, but now a Vita version has been announced with extra content. I'll just wait for that one. Hopefully it'll fix of some of the game's issues.

The game's issues won't be changed unless they redesign a butt-load of the game. Hopefully the sequel is better.

It's not in need of a major redesign, but yes a few tweaks wouldn't go amiss. Apparentlly a few things are being adressed in the sequel (first and foremost a cutscene that shows any changes from activating switches and whatnot)

It's hard as balls, but hell satisfying when you figure out the solution to a difficult puzzle.

(Looks folornly at half completed game)

When you get over the half way point it becomes more cryptic, just you wait.

I played the game while watching a streamer play through it, so most of the puzzle solving was done for me. Which is a good thing considering how stupid some of them are.

I think I'm past that point.

I'm stuck in the Twins Labyrinth right now, looking for the Ankh gem. But I'm half tempted to restart the game again because i've been away from it for so long & have probably forgotten a bunch of stuff I'm supposed to remember. The only thing holding me back is the fact that a) I've sunk a pile of time into this already and b) Some of those bosses were stupid hard.

It's a little bit after the Twin Labyrinths IIRC.
