Yes! After MK is good.

I just picked up a killer Phosphora bow. 6 star ranged, and +4 to my forward dash shots.

I'm tearing up those kill 'X amount of enemies' challenges, at least in the air. Enemies go down like wheat before a scythe.

I'm checking NW while my wife gets ready for... pinball. I don't have time for your childish games. Away with you.

@kriswright

Ploots gone now anyway. It's not fun beating up on you by myself.

So I played Light vs Dark for the first time tonight. I am certainly confused about the different weapons and such, but it was very fun. I'll be playing more again soon!

Does anyone in here have 100% of the powers?

@NinSage

I'm missing 3 .

I'm missing 5. Do we have to accomplish certain Treasure Hunt achievements to get them? Do some Treasure Hunt achievements merely unlock the POSSIBILITY of getting them as level rewards?

I went back to this game after not playing for a month, and got humbled down to 5.0 intensity quite promptly. Game can get tough as hell if you want it to be. I love the way it handles difficulty. If anyone hasn't played The World Ends With You (DS) you should check it out if only for the similar difficulty slider options.

I believe so. On the weekend I won my 30th LvD match and unlocked Warp...but it isn't in my list of powers to select. I got a bit confused too because I had checked my power board shortly after the matches and it had gone down from the 4 missing pieces I had last week, to 3. I must have picked up a different power that I was missing in the meantime.
But I still need to *find* Warp even though I unlocked it on the Treasure Hunt board. Same with Tempura Attack- I unlocked it ages ago by deliberately getting tempura'd 5 times....but I don't have the power. The thing I'm not sure about is if seeing that these are together mode only powers, does that mean I can only *find* them in together mode (i.e end-of-round rewards)? Or should I be able to find them in single-player too?

The last one I have to unlock is Virus, but I found out last night that there's a treasure hunt for that.

One thing to note when checking which powers you need: Some are single-player only and some are together-mode only. Meaning you have to check gear screens on both lists to work out what powers you're missing (I can't find a simple list in-game with *all* powers acquired )

Yea, I know exactly what you're saying on all counts. That has been my experience too. Let me know if you find any tips on how to get a certain reward once you have unlocked the ability to get said reward =P

Here is the list I made for myself ....

===SPIN ATTACK===
Clear chapter 18 without taking any damage

===TEMPURA ATTACK===
Unlocked. Acquire??

===VIRUS===
chapter 22, 11 mins, 7.5

===WARP===
Achieve 30 victories in Light vs. Dark (together mode)

===EGGPLANT ATTACK===
Unlocked. Acquire??

@NinSage

Interesting. I was a bit confused by your post because I've already got Spin Attack, but I haven't done the Treasure hunt you mentioned. So I had a look at the Treasure hunt list here.

Now I think I've figured it out. If you look at the Power sections of the different hunts, some of the powers rewards are listed with levels, but others are not. Crosschecking with the hunts I've already completed, it seems that the ones *with* the levels, are actual powers that are awarded to you. i.e. Completing Lv 18 without damage will net you Spin Attack Lv2. BUT that doesn't stop you from acquiring it elsewhere as I must have done.

The powers that are simply listed *without* the levels however are the 'Power unlocked' ones. These appear to make the powers accessible, but then you still need to find them. Still no wiser on where the best place/mode in-game is to find said powers are though.

And thankfully that means I don't HAVE to do the Chapter 22 hunt to get Virus- it isn't a 'power unlock' reward. I just need to find it lying around somewhere. Which is great news because I just tried to do that hunt today, and it requires killing Amazon Pandora fast. Extremely tricky at 7.5 intensity, let me tell you.

In other hunt news, I got my 10th Streetpass today and have completely cleared Palutena's board :D. 4 more to go on Viridi's and 31 on Hades. Getting there slowly!

Well this is annoying.

Two Treasure hunts- Clear Chapter 24 with full health and Defeat the Great Sacred Treasure without taking damage.

Given that the GST is right at the end of Chapter 24, it stands to reason that beating it without taking damage would also double for finishing the chapter at full health, correct?

So why in fuck did the second hunt clear on my board, but not the first? In what reality does that make any sense?!

@Shadowlink

Maybe you weren't at full health...? I always keep a health replenish item to make sure.
Posted: 06/28/12, 06:39:57
@VofEscaflowne

But I must have been. At the start of the fight you pick up a Drink of the Gods instantly, thus putting me at full health. And the unlock for beating the GST with no damage occured. Therefore I MUST have finished at full health. It makes no sense that both hunts did not unlock.

Maybe it glitched out because it was my 3rd try or something? I kept getting caught by that attack that vaporises half the battlefield and OHKO's you.

That's weird--I got both those hunts at the same time. Not sure why finishing without taking damage wouldn't equal full health.

EDIT: Do you have to be on a certain intensity for one of them? I remember at least one of them requiring 2.0 difficulty.

@TriforceBun

Nope I just checked. Neither of them have an intensity requirement.

In fact given that you start the battle at full health, the only way you should be able to get one of these and not the others, is if you took damage and then healed up with a power before finishing the mission. And even then, that would give you the full-health one and deny you the no damage one.

It's just not logically possible to complete the no damage requirement and not the full health one!

Infuriating.

@Shadowlink

Well it could be possible if one thought they were at full health and skipped the drink but if you took it, then yeah, that is weird. I know I've had it happen where I thought I was full health but upon looking at it closely, I noticed there was a TINY bit of life missing. I started noticing it during the challenges where you have to beat an entire chapter without taking damage.
