Yahoo! Merry Christmas everyone! Happy Holidays and all that jazz!

I hope Santa was good to everyone. Most of my gifts I already had received. Skyward Sword, Mario 3D Land, the Zelda Collector's edition 3DS. MY mom always gives my my Xmas money early, usually in Nov. that way I can buy myself whatever I want, plus I have money to go out and get everyones Xmas shopping done early.

Last night I ended up with probably 6 or 7 Nintendo related shirts. A Nintendo Jacket/hoodie. A mario scarf and mario pajama pants and a George Forman Grill.

Not too shabby for a 46 year old. I love getting gifts for people, but I also still love receiving them as well. I still can't believe how much my mom spoils me.I'm just glad everyone is healthy and we can all get together for Xmas. I feel very lucky for the family I have!

@roykoopa64

Yup!

I still managed to get into the Christmas Spirit today by... wrapping some presents. lol

Merry Christmas everyone!

Okay, so, some game related swag - My girlfriend got me a Super Mario Question Block thing full of FaveRed Starbursts, a little Stay Puft Marshmallow that plays music, and a Gamestop giftcard! She knows me too well. She had to order the question block from Japan apparently!

Other than that I got a few checks from various family members. This isn't game related...but i'm thinking of putting some iTunes giftcards towards the TomTom app on my iPhone, and putting some other money towards an iPhone holder for my car.

Since I have a LOT of games to play through, I'm struggling to think of what I want to get with the Gamestop giftcard ($50)....What I'm THINKING of doing is getting Picross DS or Picross 3D, and putting the rest of the money towards my XBL subscription.

@PogueSquadron

You two haven't been dating that long... but she took care of you indeed. A fucking keeper sir!

Merry Christmas everyone!

I mostly didn't get game-related things, but my aunt gave me a Mario Chess set (very nicely made!) and Sarah got me Rayman Origins, which I'm enjoying a lot!

Mustache, that's some heavy artillery! Hope you don't have to match or top it every year after this...!
12/26/11, 04:55
Gaming wise, I got this cool book on old school adventure games, Deux Ex: Human Revolution for PC and Skyward Sword bundle! Plus 2000 Wii Points and, on the more questionable side, this bundle, which includes two pretty cheap looking handles and a code to download Big Town Shoot Out for Wii Ware.

Oh and I can't forget Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest from Paleo for the Secret Santa. All in all, a very nice haul.

The only thing I really wanted that I didn't get is Mario Kart 7, which I'm going to have to fix on my own ASAP.

My sister bought me this... which is a neat little thing. I didn't even know this kind of puzzle existed.

Toyglobe.com has a listing. It's one of those images that shifts as you move, but it's a puzzle too. Wild. It's got a picture of Donkey Kong Jungle Beat on it.

A very merry Christmas, indeed, to Negative Worlders the world over.

To celebrate here's a remix just posted today on OCRemix by the almost always awesome, halc, with a super rad EarthBound remix of one of my all time favorite tunes from the series, Snowman! What a poignant treat to have your ears behold...

I am glad to read that the NW Secret Santa seems to have gone well for those involved. I hope everyone enjoys their surprise Wii gifting ways.

Happy holiday wishes, as well, to all those celebrating in the days to come with family and friends.

Merry Christmas everybody! I hope everyone was very blessed this holiday season. I personally had a terrific Christmas. For the first time in... 25 years or so(?) I heard a sermon at church that was not just the standard Christmas sermon. The new pastor we have is freaking amazing. I never knew all this stuff I'm learning now.

Anyways, a very happy holiday to you all! And Happy New Year if I'm not back online before then.

@DrFinkelstein

Speaking of DK Jungle Beat, I was at the one walmart a few days ago and they had like 3 sets of the bongos for Dk Jungle Beat and the other bongo games that came out. Now, there was no games, just the bongos. I thought it was weird they had them. And they had for the gamecube on the box, so they didn't look brand new like they were re-released. Like maybe they were in the warehouse part of walmart laying around for a couple years and they are trying to sell them. The boxes were in new looking condition. And they were not discounted. I think they were like $19.99, which I think was the original price.

I was almost thinking about buying one of them to have.

The only gaming related thing I got so far (unless you count our secret santa here) is a pair of Mario Party 5 stuffed dice. My sister bought a used car and found them inside so I ended up with them. Nice... I guess.

I'm still getting something from my girlfriend though which may or may not be game related, but that isn't until she gets back which is early January.

Damn! I tried to snap a pic of the QR code and I couldn't cause Im not far enough into the game!! Man, Im on Challenge 2-14 or I believe puzzle 68. I have been stuck on this puzzle for days. I put some time into it on friday, and couldnt figure it out.

I was just getting ready to ask for help and Wa-lah! I got it. That is what I hate or should I say love about this game. I will be stuck for the longest time and its not like there is that many blocks to deal with. Still I cannot figure it out. Then, all of a sudden I try something and it works. It really is like a love-hate relationship.

I have a bad feeling if some of these early levels are giving me so much trouble, I'll probably have to give up on the later ones. Ugg. The next puzzle sucks as well. Sometimes after a toughie, a couple of them will be easy. Not challenge 2-15! Damn it! Again, there is only 7 different pieces. It cant be that tough. Why am I making them so hard?!

I know I'm a day late here, but Merry Christmas all my Negative World brothers (and two sisters). I hope you all had a fun-filled and happy holiday season. And let me be the first to wish you all a Happy New Year. Let's make 2012 the year that prooves the justice of our culture. Now go and rest, our heroes.

[Insert lazy writer's Egg Nog Joke]

This year's Wright Family holiday was noteworthy because it got all the family members together - four generations - and we didn't fight or act crappy to each other. This is pretty much the first time that's ever happened. So I now agree with all those masochistic clowns who think the Mayans were on to something about this new year. Something's up.

Merry Christmas, though. That's my point.

My Negative World New Year's Resolution: Never mention Boogerman again. That's soooooo 2011.
