I'm pretty sure we're talking about the same race. That was the first race I ran with you guys. I was confused on how I dropped from first to second without seeing anyone pass me until we got to the third section and I realized what track we were on.
@ludist210 Yep, that was it! I remember you finishing second, and me passing Kenny with a nice orange powerslide, and dropping a banana on his face. So if Gui was referring to that race, then one asshat cheated but he did succeed.
I got a communication error after I cheated when I was hiding behind the tree! Very interesting. I don't think it was quick enough though, I probably would have had enough time to finished the race if I had wanted to.
I think I was playing by the time the Japanese Toad won Maka Wuhu via the Cheat. Metal Mario tried it as well I think, because he was the one who kept voting for Maka Wuhu a few times. He failed though, he came in last place and then dropped out of the next race. Ha!
@Guillaume Oh i see. I don't get people who spam Maka Wuhu, especially at higher levels. They think they have an advantage when everyone knows about the trick?
@Guillaume Well, snaking makes more sense because it's a skill that can be pulled off better the more you practice. That and a lot of people found it annoying to play like that so snaking was a clear advantage.
This Maka Wuhu trick is a shortcut and all you need is a mushroom.
There is nothing more wonderful than having one person attempt it, fail, then come in last place. So yummy. @anon_mastermind @Guillaume It really makes no sense at all. It drove me into a fit of ALLCAPS SWEARING.
Also, yeah Gui, that one Maka race was awesome. It was weird seeing everyone take the real path (aside from the one failure). Though you got first, so you are a bast.
@TK_Thunder Yeah, I found that communication error to be odd, but sort of deserved. I wonder what's going on there...
I may be on before I go to bed tonight. I did have fun (save for the first race) so I'm game for it! Would we want to make it a community thing? Or just do some online races?
