First 2 cups impressions:
Toad Circuit: very easy, simple first track as in any Mario Kart
Daisy Hills: some fun stuff going on here. More twists and turns and more gliding, I like it.
Cheep Cheep Lagoon: great track. Alternate paths, shortcuts, underwater and gliding. Fun stuff
Shy Guy Bazaar: A little underwhelming but maybe will grow on me. There seems to be clear cut faster route through this one.
Wuhu Loop: Love it! The music is an awesome Wii Sports Resort remix. A little short overall since it's just one lap, but it's really nice to race around Wuhu. Shortcuts and alternate paths galore.
Mario Circuit: Not bad, it's cool that you go through Peach's castle, but other than that pretty simple track.
Music Park: Creative and fun. The music goes along with your racing, love it.
Rock Rock Mountain: cool track. Looks like Coopa Cape a bit at first, but becomes its own track later. Interesting vertical section and lots of strategic gliding in this one.
A few comments:
- I like the end of race music, it's a remix of the Mario Kart 64 theme.
- Don't like that time is not tracked in GP mode.
- Coins are gonna add a ton of depth to the racing.
- You can get a mushroom in first, and out boost a blue shell.
- Items seem more balanced and less chaotic, 8 racers instead of 12 is a big factor.
- Music overall is good
- Customization is fun

I just hate the fact that it was advertised in store on the counter for like a month yet at the end of it all, they know absolutely fuck all about the reward and don't even make a damn effort to try and fix it. So I'll call back tomorrow to speak to the manager or email them and hopefully get this resolved.
