I put together a quick wishlist for me and 100% of it was animation stuff. 50% books, 50% DVDs.

Oh, well, actually one was a CD. Disney Afternoon Soundtrack. Out of print, super expensive, but one day I shall own it!

@ludist210 That's an interesting idea. I wonder if I could find much though, other than pictures I can't think of too many THINGS that I have from places we have been. Although pictures are nice.

Thanks. I saw that earlier. But I never stay in line for anything, with the only exception being the Wii launch on that cold day of December 2006. Since Uncharted 3 is a door buster, I don't think I am going to spend 2 hours in a cold night to maybe save $30. Plus, I have no real rush for any new game at the moment except for Skyward Sword.

I am eying the following games if I find a good deal that takes the minimum amount of effort (such as ordering from Amazon, or price drop on regular business hours):

-Uncharted 3
-Little Big Planet 2
-Assassin's Creed: Revelation
-Red Dead Redemption: GOTY Version
-Saint's Row The Third
-Star Fox 64
-Super Mario 3D Land
-Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition
-Aliens: Infestation
-Halo: Anniversary

I am still in a dilemma about Cave Story 3D and Shinobi. Cave Story because I am not sure if I dig the 3D graphics and I definitely do not dig the $40 price tag. Shinobi because I don't have the time to play super challenging games when my backlog is nearing triple digits.

@gencid Yeah, Cave Story at $40 when you can get it for $10 on the DSi shop is a really bad price. If it goes down to $20 then I'll get it. You are eyeing a good selection of games there. I'm not really into Saint's Row, but everything else sounds good.

But yeah, hat/mittens is cool. I still like cute undies / socks. I get those for Nikki like every year.

@Mr_Mustache Man shoes is another nice idea. A hot new pair of sneakers. I'm so bad at this though like... of course I have a fairly good idea what she would like. But then I also think when it comes to clothes, if I just buy her something it might be pretty close to what she wants, but not what she ACTUALLY wants. But if I ask her first, it ruins the surprise, right? Hmm. I guess that is what the months leading up to Christmas are for, digging for hints.

Just buy it, and get a gift receipt. If she doesn't like it, thats her deal, haha.
And then she can exchange it for something else.

I hate receiving clothes for any occasion. I think clothes are very personal things that only someone with hugely intimate knowledge of you (like a spouse) should gift. If anyone is going to buy me clothes, I prefer to go with them to the store.

Awesome discussions about gift buying. I'm terrible at gift buying, but sometimes my wife has been happy with what I get her!

Anyway, as for my wishlist, I really do think the list is light. I don't need any more games for the rest of the year. I've got SM3DL, I'm getting Skyward Sword and Mario Kart 7... and I have a stack of unplayed games that I really want to get into, and includes DS, 3DS, and Wii games.

Maybe I will ask for points cards so I can get some more WiiWare, Wii VC, and 3DS VC games too!

Actually, I need to get Kirby Mass Attack and Kirby's Return to Dream Land, but I don't know if I'm just going to get them on my own or ask for them.

Man, I only have Nintendo systems and I still can't keep up with everything I want to play.

@sirmastersephiroth Well, I have a pretty good idea what kind of shoes and hat and mittens she would wear. And I did buy her a t-shirt before, which she wears sometimes. She's not really a t-shirt type, but it was so perfect so I had to bite, and I think she likes it.
