In case you don't know, it is reviewing very, very well. I've read many reviews calling it the best JRPG of the generation, and one even called it the best JRPG since the 16-bit era.

Just curious to know how badly people here want it.

I'll definitely buy right away. I love Monolith's work. Baten Kaitos was fantastic, IMO. And I've heard nothing but good things about this game. DO WANT.

I'd buy it on day one. Same with The Last Story. I'm not too interest by Pandora's Tower, but the other two look fantastic.

Not a Day 1 purchase, but I'd be sure to play it eventually.

I already pre-ordered on Amazon, so I'd probably just keep my preorder.

For budgeting purposes about 90% of my games are gifts or bought with gifted money on b-day (middle of year) or Christmas. So that would affect when I get it. I'm not really an JRPG guy these days (not since the 16 bit days really) but this one I would get to show support - also it looks to be great.

Is it POSSIBLE that they don't want Xenoblade to blow every game out of the water on Wii with a giant number, possibly displacing Mario Galaxy as the most loved / highest scored game? It just..doesn't make sense. I still can't make anything of it.

As for Tales of Symphonia, yeah, I loved the poop out of those games but a few people ("few") did not. I didn't think there was much dropoff to Wii, but of course, other people did. That said, I liked Skies of Arcadia also, but Chrono Trigger still takes the cake (with Final Fantasy III doing its darn best to compete. So close, man, so close!).

I don't know if/how you want to include Ogre Battle 64, but that got some pretty sweet scores across the board on N64. Not Chrono Trigger good, but good.

Not interested.

I would, however, wager money that these glowing reviews wouldn't be as glowing as they are if this whole debacle wasn't going on. Sadly we have no "alternate reality" machines, so I will have to just believe that and have no proof. Ah well.

Europeans are reviewing it just as highly though and as Simba said noone here really cares whether you guys get it or not, its nice to be getting these games rather than being kept in the dark for a change.
