Me too. I was able to get on after that, but now the eShop is undergoing maintenance...on launch day...minutes after launching.
Seriously? How do you know this? So, does that mean eshop is fucked up and not my 3DS. Thats all I care about. I better not have to send in my 3DS. I remember when the Wii had it's first update, some people had to send in thier Wiis. I cannot remember exactly what happened.
Yeah, I'm getting some BS errors, too. The codes at support.nintendo.com say the 3DS is struggling to connect to an access point, but that's a laugh considering I'm 3 feet from the router and I just downloaded the whole update.

That was the code it gave me. It said that the eShop was currently undergoing maintenance. That's probably "code" for our servers are overwhelmed at the moment. I was able to log on an get Excitebike, but it gave me an error code when I went to download the Pokedex.
Has anyone bought anything? If you have, can you buy with the exact amount, or do you have to do it in blocks of $10 and $20?
