@Mr_Mustachelol, no, it was my friend who was over the other day. But I don't think the 3D thing will ever defeat simple 2D gaming, just as side-scollers never died because of open-world 3D environments back when they first arrived in the mid-90's. The option to see games in 3D is always there with the 3DS, and if you just don't want to see the 3D, you can just turn it off. Besides, it's not like Nintendo is going to abandon their 2D games, because it seems at the moment, it's just available as a solo experience, so it will only be on the handhelds. I think the successor of the Wii, whenever that comes, will continue to be viewed in 2D. |
