And promptly snagged the 1st and 3rd place finishers. Total winnings $80, for a net profit of $65. Not too shabby!

Orioles fans eh? You guys are in good hands with Dan Duquette, I think. He was GM for the Expos back in the early 90s when the Expos were awesome.

Edit: In 1987 he became Montreal's director of player development. In his three years in that role, the Expos drafted Marquis Grissom, Cliff Floyd and Rondell White and signed Vladimir Guerrero, Javier Vazquez, Orlando Cabrera and many other major leaguers.

Well, I like the Montreal Canadiens, and the New England Patriots.

I like(d) the Expos, and haven't really found myself an MLB team of preference since they left. I just follow the league as a fan of baseball as a whole.

I'm from northern Virginia, so I was raised on the Redskins, Capitals and Orioles (and I am, to a lesser extent, a Nationals fan too). Never been a huge fan of basketball, but when I watch, I tend to root for the Bulls (thanks to Jordan when I was a kid) and the Wizards (by proximity).

In college, I root for Virginia Tech (attended there for a year), Troy University (graduated from there) and Alabama (my wife graduated from there).

AND just like that the Houston Texans may have just blown any chance at a playoff berth. Peytown is out for the season, the Jags just suck, and Hasselbeck is working with CJ200 and we STILL possibly can't do it. Schaub is out for the year, we've got a guy who hasn't thrown a game time pass in over a year stepping in.... :(

At least my Seahawks beat the Ravens. Which was revenge for them beating the Texans.

And I love how you think that the Seahawks exacted revenge on the Ravens for the Texans. I don't want to get into semantics, but its probably unlikely...but it is a great way of thinking, and a fun aside.
