Man, my teams just rained heartache on all of Detroit today. Awesome for me, of course! (Sorry, Finko)

Congrats O's! Man, there's been some damn fine baseball on lately. All the Royals games have been outstanding, and that 18-inning marathon in Washington was unbelievable. I'm happy to have anybody but the cards or dodgers win. Besides that, I just want more great baseball!

I don't ask for much but COME ON SKINS!!! Ugh..

Gotta be them Seahawks man.

Redskins just do not look good. If Seattle's O-Line wasn't so afraid of Percy scoring, this game would already be over.

This is a reoccurring quote/nightmare since 1992.

Percy Harvin scores three touchdowns and they all get called back. He still has not scored a touchdown all season. Seahawks played mediocre and still won, which is good news for us Seahawks fans since when we play good, we're pretty much unbeatable.

The third call was very questionable, but it was funny in a "thank god the Redskins suck" kind of way that his TDs were called back. Puts us back near the top of the division. Still wish people would knock the 49ers around more, but can't always get what we want. I'm not sure how well the Cardinals are going to fair now, but Arians seems to get teams going under him.

I also had no idea that the O's swept. AL seems to be moving quickly, NL not so much.

I thought the Redskins didn't play too badly actually. They scored 17 points on the best defense in the league. Seahawks run defense was pretty much impenetrable though.

@WrathOfSamus777

I agree. I'm a little miffed that Washington couldn't pull out a win, but they played well against a tough Seattle team.

Also, I'm getting a little tired of Richard Sherman running his mouth. I like Seattle fine, but the more he talks, the less I like them.
10/07/14, 22:10
Who would have thought that of the 3 prime time games this week that Redskins/Seahawks would have been the most competitive?
10/07/14, 22:15
@ludist210
Sherman's problem is that people put a mic in front of him. At some point he's going to have to leave that stuff on the field. Garcon pulled your hair, you shut him down, let that say everything. Don't go out there and say the dude "doesn't matter" or whatever.

I am glad Seattle moved away from Golden Tate. Hated that guy. Tons of talent, but he's such a punk. I remember that stupid play he had against the Rams (in the ugliest game I've ever seen Seattle play) where he got behind the defender, caught a huge pass, and then proceeded to taunt the guy for the next 25 yards. Now he's out there crying that the Bills Schwartz was "disrespectful" for purposely asking to be carried off the field after beating his old team.

@missypissy

I agree. I liked Sherman until the whole Crabtree thing last year (but I gave him a pass at the time since Crabtree is a diva). Now he just mouths-off after every game and it's getting old.

At least that's the worst thing that he does. I don't put him on the same level as a Ray Rice or Adrian Peterson (which life keeps getting more and more miserable for him by the day)...not even close. Just on the level of guys that irritate me after the games are over.

@ludist210
Uh oh. I didn't hear what Sherman said post-game. He's probably my favorite Seahawk though. Best corner in the game!

You think if Baltimore wins the World Series they'll bring Jeffrey Maier in for the resulting celebration parade?

@chrisbg99

Jeffrey Maier went to Wesleyan, the university in my home town. Used to see him at the gym all the time.

@chrisbg99

They'd probably topple him like a giant Saddam Hussein statue.
