Did anyone ever pick up that Frogger game? Curious to see how the full version worked out.

After cooling off I set the game to creative mode got my crap and got back to home. I did play some more, but I stayed clear of the cavern.

I have had a lot of fun playing Minecraft in couch co-op with my 3 older kids on Xbox 360. Love it. Probably the best entertainment value per dollar spent I ever bought.

@PogueSquadron
The demo was pretty thorough.

Hahaha, I think I need Art Camion Sugorokuden in my life.

MAKERUNA MAKENDO 2 – A quirky, high-energy fighting game which includes magic attacks on top of the usual stable of special and melee attacks. Players can use magic to increase their HP, increase attack strength and lower enemy defense powers in order to take down their opponents.

ART CAMION SUGOROKUDEN – Presented in a board game-style where dice rolls determine how far trucks move, players can explore Japan aboard a customizable ‘art truck’ and unlock upgrades with which to decorate their vehicles as they complete deliveries.

FINGER★FLASHING – As a young witch named Poi begins her final witchcraft exam, she is suddenly attacked by monsters. Utilizing a familiar rock, paper scissors-style balanced magic combat system, players must successfully form multiple combos to keep the hordes of incoming monsters at bay.

LUP★SALAD – Classic puzzle-style gameplay is given a twist in this creative puzzle title where players control Salad, a character who is dropped onto the traditional puzzle board and must move each puzzle piece herself. Players must be careful when matching up tiles on the game board though; if they complete one pattern while blocks remain above Salad, she will be crushed and the game will end.

ZANAC×ZANAC – A definitive arcade-style top-down scrolling sci-fi game, ZANACxZANAC packages the classic 8-bit ship-based shooter ZANAC with its sequel, ZANAC NEO. The Auto Level Control system automatically adjusts the game difficulty to match player skill, so 8- and 16-bit sci-fi shooter veterans and newbies alike can enjoy the chaos and fun of blasting everything in space to bits with a variety of weapons.

VEHICLE CAVALIER – A fast-paced vehicle action game that gives players the ability to customize their armaments. Weapons, boosters and special defensive items that cancel out enemy attacks can be mixed and matched to allow players to strategize their vehicle load outs.

Has anyone here played Dyad? I like it. Reminds me a lot of Art Style: light trax. It feels like there's a lot of depth there and a ton of room for mastery, but I'm not sure if I want to put the time into it to get really really good at it. When you do really well, it feels sublime. Gives me a BIT.TRIPPY feeling.

I've played it for a while and gave up on it. I don't know if I just lacked the skill or if the colors/randomness of it all was too much but it just didn't feel fun to me. I probably spent nearly an hour trying to do this challenge and how did I finally beat it? By holding left on the analog stick the entire time.

@VofEscaflowne

I'm not going to bother with the trophy levels. Way too difficult for me. Maybe I'll go back to them someday...

Retro/Grade is fantastic! Highly recommended to any BIT.TRIP fans. Awesome presentation and really fun gameplay. I was done with it in about a day though- beat it on Mediumcore and then jumped straight to the highest difficulty. The challenges don't seem worth it.

Someone let me know if ilomilo goes on sale.

I still need to beat Dust: An Elysian Tail for the 360. It's a pretty cool game with nifty combat and a nice style to it. I always look forward to indie games on marketplaces. I remember a few summers ago, when xbox had the summer indie thing going on and I picked up games like Monday Night Combat and Harmony of Despair. I would love to see more of those types of things going on.

I've been keeping on top of the XBLA sale, somewhat (even though I hate Microsoft). I got Mark of the Ninja, Fez, and Trials Evolution. I was about to get Dust, but during the time that I was deliberating it, the price went back up. I'm actually kind of glad, since it didn't really resonate with me. From what everyone was saying, I was thinking that it would be a tight, exploration-based action game. But it kind of felt like a loose flash game for furries. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

It's definitely impressive that one dude made it, but it kind of felt like an XBLI game in some ways. I dunno. Maybe I'm being too harsh.

I also bought some more Steam games that I'll never play. I even went out of my way to buy a game that WASN'T part of a humble bundle! Critter Crunch, which I enjoyed on Gui's PS3. Hell, I might even install it.

@Guillaume
It's pretty cool that companies are bringing over PS1 imports. They don't have to be ESRB-rated anymore, right? I've actually heard of that Lup Salad thing somewhere...

@Pokefreak911

12/28/12, 14:13
@Pokefreak911

@warerare
Well if no-one wants it, you can have it. I'll pm it to you later tonight.

@warerare

Do you have PC or Mac? On my iMac I've been playing it with a Wii Remote thanks to the free app Darwiin Remote.

What are some great deals/games on XBLA right now? I need something to invest my 1600 christmas points in...
12/29/12, 03:06
@DrFinkelstein

Fez was just on sale for half off... which means that it won't be on sale again anytime soon! Get it!

Really liking Snapshot. Wish I had got it earlier this year.

EDIT: Damn it has some strict par times. Same as Offspring Fling in that respect. Kyle Pulver you are unforgiving.

@Secret_Tunnel

Can someone confirm if this is still on SALE? Maybe I'll need to bust a move on that TODAY.... it's not hooked up because my Wii U took it's place and it'll be awkward to have my 360 back up, but still, I'll do it sooner than later if anyone can confirm this.
