I'm just going to leave the newest trailer right here at the top. Enjoy it guys, I'm not watching. Media blackout starts NOW!

We're beyond the want level now. I need this game.

My wife got this for me for Christmas. Just got all the KONG letters in world 1 and about to try the 1st Kong world

Good luck! That's one of the harder levels in the whole game IMO. At least until you get through them all for the first time.

Dear god, I spent like an hour the other night on the mole boss in mirror mode and still didn't beat it! It's not even necessarily that hard, but it's a pretty long boss fight and I kept getting super far (often up to the end cart) then getting hit and then I wasted another 5 minutes or whatever.

GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I'm having flashbacks of star 242 in Super Mario Galaxy 2...

@Zero

Trust me, 4-k in mirror mode is much, MUCH worse. It is by far the hardest level in the game. The mole fight is nothing compared to that.

Oh I haven't even gone near the temples in mirror mode yet. Though maybe some won't be too bad, I beat most of them without Diddy Kong.

I just got through the 2nd area (The Beach) and I have to say these boards are really cool. I'm loving the different ideas that they've incorporated, such as tidal waves, giant squid, dodging cannon balls, etc. I'm hoping the rest of the areas are just as imaginative as what I've gone through.

Before my Wii crapped out on me, I made it up to 3-2. Very good so far. I didn't imagine it would top any of the originals, but it's already better than 1 and 3, maybe even 2!

@Zero

Most of them aren't much worse than their regular counterparts. But with 4-k, you can't hover past the spikes, and you can't get hit AT ALL. You have to be 100% perfect. I still haven't beaten it yet.

Just beat World 5. Definitely a fun game. I'm not super blown away by it, but I've definitely been surprised a few times. That part where the mine track turns into a giant hamster ball had me laughing because I was so scared.

Keep in mind that the boss WILL NOT jump out of the first cart that "shakes." A handy thing to know when going toe to toe with him.

Gotta echo Casper's 4-K Mirror Mode sentiments. That was downright brutal!

Just played through the first-and-a-half words. I'm loving it so far and can't wait to play more.

One more level and the end boss to go... dundundun.

I just got the game and played through the first world, finding all the puzzle pieces and KONG letters (and also completed that temple).

I think I'm in love!

I'm probably jumping the gun a bit but wow, what a great game. I had been worried about the motion controls, afraid I would curse Nintendo for forcing players to use them, but I find the roll as natural to do as in SMG. I don't even mind the "blowing". It does stop the action, but I don't care, the OCD in me wants to blow all of those dandelion seeds. They look pretty anyway.

And speaking of pretty, damn the game is a looker. I had avoided looking at too many previews, videos and screenshots, and I'm just astounded by the animation and the level of detail everywhere. Finally a game that convinces me a 2.5D game can look as pleasing as hand-drawn animation.

Sorry for the gushing, but finally playing this game just melted all of my concerns and blew away my expectations!

BTW, in the switch stage (7-6?) does anybody know how to keep going up in that part about 1/3 through the stage where you're heading up and then the way to go is right but you can see ledges that continue to go up? It seems logically impossible to me, though I must be missing something.

Beat the Factory Boss. Man this game is great. Very challenging too.

How do you guys prefer to play? Wiimote alone, or Wiimote and Nunchuck?

This is tricky. There're actually two ways to do it--the first is to roll off the ledge into the column of buttons, then jump and hover there long enough to re-activate them and land on the upper platform. It's not easy to pull that off, so you may want to try the second method: progress slightly, hit the button near the checkpoint pig (so that the ledges in the tall corridor are pushed in), then do a roll jump back through the column of buttons (thereby activating them once) to land on the upper platform.

urrrggghhhh. I sort of stuck on the 'wave' level in world 2 and no interest in trying to beat it. I hate levels like that, the one in Icarean sucked too.

Is there shame in using that bird to find elusive puzzle pieces? When I've gone through a level a couple of times, I start feeling like I'm probably not gonna find it on my own at this point.

@Cube191

Haha, I loved that level in NyxQuest. So tense!

I had no shame using Squawks the parrot whenever I had trouble finding a puzzle piece.
