Which Nintendo-published games have you NOT you played (but want to)? [roundtable]

Mine mostly fall into the 'obscure' category. Games like Geist, DK Barrel Blast, Mole Mania, Teleroboxer, Mario Clash, stuff like Odama and Chibi Robo and Golden Sun that I just haven't opened yet, lots of import games. But there are also a bunch of old-school games that I missed out on, like Gyromite, Stunt Race FX, Earthbound, all the Super Mario Land games, and most Kirby games. Oh, and some of the more realistic sports stuff.

I finally did get Wrecking Crew on the VC. Eeeeehhh.

But the games I'm most curious about are Zangeki No Reginleiv, Gyromite, Super Mario Land 1 & 2, and Stunt Race FX. (It's Miyamoto, right?)

Dude, get on that Wii list asap! Especially the Mario games
I'm trying, believe me. But owning all current consoles and handhelds and having a lot less time nowadays for gaming than I used to, only worsens the likelyhood of playing those games or clearing my backlog anytime soon. At least I will not jump on the next generation as early as I did this time. Maybe I'll go back to the days of being a single console owner since I can't possibly play everything that comes out anymore.

Thank you for directing me to that podcast. I listened to it yesterday and I learned a lot, not just about Geist but video game production in general. Honestly the best Podcast I've heard in recent memory, (perhaps ever). Everybody was respectful and expressed their points eloquently. Is it usually like this? I might start tuning in weekly.

Yeah, dude! Radio Free Nintendo is a really good podcast. Best Nintendo-related podcast discussion on the net, by far. That's not saying much, since most Nintendo-related discussion on podcasts is laughably ignorant and narrow-minded, but...

RFN isn't always about the nuts and bolts of game development, though. That was just a special episode. They do have in-depth discussions of particular games occasionally, which the Nintendo World Report community can join in, via the message boards.

I hear you, it's hard enough for me to keep up with the latest and greatest Wii and DS releases. I've gone on record that I won't be picking up the 3DS until I clear my DS backlog, and that could be a while! And I wouldn't mind the next Wii coming in late 2012 one bit
