Description: Turn your television into a virtual aquarium with AquaSpace. If you want to get up close and personal with the fish, you can send your Mii™ character on a dive to swim with them, feed them or hunt for trivia icons to discover fish-related facts. Choose from eight aquarium themes and spruce them up with dozens of different fish and a variety of decorations, wallpaper and plant life. You can also change the background music by taking your pick from a selection of songs or using the sound of water. Then, once everything is set up, you can view your aquarium from a variety of camera angles (including a fish-eye view). Because apparently the sales are close to non existent now and Nintendo makes more money with WiiWare and DSiWare.
In other words, it seems nobody cares about the Virtual Console any more. Except old Capcom fans that bought a Wii for all 18 Capcom games (including 5 Street Fighter variations and 4 Megaman games), of course  ! |

VC doesn't make any money because they refuse to put out great VC games more then once every 6 months. Nobody checks it anymore for VC.. it sucks.

Hey, now that I can actually see the Furry Legends trailer Simba posted, I have to say... it doesn't look half bad.
edit - Also, I just watched Nintendo Week. Good to see Nintendo flex its marketing muscle for... Tomena Sanner? Yoshi's Story?
Tomena Sanner released last December, and I think YS was even earlier. Guess Nintendo must know there isn't much out there to showcase if they that's what they chose to focus on. |

Well, they were showcasing side-scrollers, so it makes sense to showcase those two. They chose 1 WiiWare game and 1 VC game so they're promoting both services. Tomena Sanner is a great value and can use all the publicity it can get, so I'm happy they chose it. And the Yoshi's Story blurb actually made me consider, for a second, downloading it because I've never given it a fair shake. Its look resembles that of Kirby's Epic Yarn in a way.
As they mentioned at the end of this week's episode, we should write in our favourite side-scrollers and maybe they will feature them on Nintendo Week. I will nominate Kirby's Adventure. |
