(If you want a good group, help build from within; "farm" a team here! You've said that you like to help people, but theres no encouragement from ANYONE. I WAS playing every night before, but now when I go online, my list is empty. The only stuff I ever see on here is me saying "hey, where is everyone?!" and then someone says "I might be playing sometime." THEY are the elitists. if you don't fit their standards (have sleep weapons, bombardier skills, Agk or better armor they will tell you to leave. they sure do. they are the elitists ones. not me. i'm jsut fucking trying to find cool people to do my 5 star quest (Alatreon) but no one and i mean NO ONE wants to help you unless you meet their criteria - trust me, they won't waste your time with you.

my friend roster is full. no one plays from the ol' days. only 1 I saw online in two weeks.

it's sad.

the open server is awesome but people are rarely HR50 so it's hard to find team mates

the recruiting server (where I generally play) is full of HR150+ assholes that have no interest in helping people like me).

I decided i'm jsut going to use a crappy ass sleep weapon (aka morpheus sword and shield (190 attack versus my 1000 hammer) and a crappy ass low urugaan hammer (has bombardier skill) => (150 defense versus my rathian+ 950) so that I will make them happy and so that they will let me in the game and then I'll just run around doing absolutely nothing while they do all the work (slep and bomb Alatreon)

I know you don't see it that way, and I understand your Point of View, too. But look what you're saying again: "190 attack versus my 1000 hammer." 1000?? I wasn't even sure they went that high...
Do you know what I was using earlier tonight? A 224 Sword/Shield. Maxed out.

Thats my most damaging weapon in terms of raw score. Nowhere even CLOSE to 1000.

And I don't even know my Defense. Here's a hint: its terrible. I lost 80% of my health on ONE Rathian fireball earlier.

EDIT- And if everyone is such a bunch of a-holes, why don't you clear your list a bit? Do you have everyone from here on your list? Surely you can say "hey, I'm going on tonight" and SOMEBODY will be like "cool! see ya there!" I don't know what else to offer..

The names of monsters aren't really spoilers to me, but their appearance is. I want to be wowed when I first encounter them.

Lulz, I had fun last night despite it being short-lived (compared to all the other MHTri sessions I've had with you guys). Can't wait to do it again!

And in fact it's BETTER to name monsters to avoid spoilers, because when I see a name I don't know, I don't read what follows. How are you supposed to guess if you should roll over the spoiler or not anyway, if we applied them?

Also, when I talk about assholes I refer to the recruiting server with people who are just farming alatreon and don't want to help people like me finish their urgent alatreon. The fact that the people in my list are not online is the problem.

Also, also, last night just do happens that two were and I finally killed the motherfucker. But guess what... I forgot that "I" had to select the urgent in order to surpass it. I swear I wanted to cry. We did not feel like "doing it the easy way" so it took 48 minutes. I wanted to cry. This was at 8am after many tries

By the way, honest question, since I don't understand the online at all.

At HR 5 I'm totally holding you guys back from doing the quests you really want to do, right? Also, is my quest availability about my HR level, or the star level of the quests I can currently access? In other words, do I have to finish all the 1 star to unlock 2, etc., or is that dependent on HR level?

Well pretty much after I faint twice I just hang out back at base and let the other people finish the quest anyway. That only happened once or twice though.

When it comes to choosing quests, basically, my "party" can only do quests which the lowest HR ranked player (usually me, lol) can access?

Is anyone planning on logging on tonight?

Zero, I don't mind helping you out to beat some easy quests and help you level up faster. I think it's kinda fun, to relax (basically) and take out some low level beasts to get materials. You have to select those quests yourself tho so we know what you need done.
