I'm guessing that I'm the only person here who's played this one? I just grabbed it, thanks to the splendor of the interlibrary lending system.

It's actually... pretty fun? Like Triforce Heroes (and maybe Federation Force?), it seems like an underrated multiplayer gem, reviled by the market by not being exactly what they were looking for. Granted, I've mostly played Vs. CPU, but the modes are all fun and solid, with several variants, and the wealth of powers add extra spice on top. It even has some nice progression, with lots of unlockables. I haven't tried the single-cart multi yet, but my limited online experience was great, with fast matchmaking. (And I actually won!)

The games themselves are pretty entertaining, though. They almost feel like River City sports games, since you can always ignore the actual objectives and just beat the shit out of your opponents to get ahead. It's Kirby, Chicago-style!!

Lack of stereoscopic 3D is a bummer, though. If there are no other New 3DS enhancements, why not enable 3D??

Anyway, I'm definitely going to grab this game down the line. I kind of hope that it comes to Switch for local multiplayer madness, although the games based on level rotation would have to be reworked or splitscreened.

Actually, bundling it together with all of the 3DS eShop Kirby games for Switch would be awesome.
