I know no one wants to put down Zelda, but anyone else have this?

I have to admit I have no real connection to Blaster Master (though I did instantly recognize the song in the first area!) Bought it and played a bit. It's not bad. Very old school, not particularly modern in design, but that's probably the point, right? But it's a decent game so far, for anyone looking for 8-bit and / or Blaster Master goodness. My only real complaint is that neither the analog or the 4 button movement methods feel quite right, especially for angle shots. Probably feels better on a Pro controller.

I have to get back to this game. I beat the first level on the first day's commute, and then Zelda cast its inescapable shadow. I love what I've played, though. So smooth and responsive (except for those damned diagonals in on-foot mode!). And they definitely sanded off some of the rougher edges.

@Zero I feel like I got to Area 8 and couldn't figure out how to return to Area 7. I'll have to double check. I beat the game but apparently got the bad ending, I think.

@PogueSquadron There is some weird part there where the way you go back is actually different than the way you came in, since you have the tank now. Just go as far back as you can and once you can't go any longer (since it's too small for the tank to fit through), fly up and you'll find a warp that takes you back near the beginning of 7 or something?

ALSO... don't forget this when you're done exploring and you want to get back to 8 from 7. I was stuck there for awhile like how the F do I get my tank back down now? because it doesn't come down like it did with the boss fight the first time. Then I went online and realized a lot of other people get stuck there too, totally forgetting that (like myself) they left by that new route and should come back by that new route as well, which is to say just take the new warp near the beginning of 7 to get to the door to 8, don't travel all the way back to where you fought the boss because you can't get through that way anymore.
