The wait is nearly over. The game is being detailed left and right by the media,… the amiibo have been announced,… and the Nintendo Switch is imminent… The Legend of Zelda series has been a special one for Nintendo fans since it began and the next chapter starts on March 3rd, 2017.
A hero's tale begins anew. Open your eyes and see what is true.
Fun Facts: Vast open world where you could go find the end of the game within 15 minutes… but you won't survive it. Weapons have stats and durability. Climb pretty much anything you want. Eat and cook to regain health. Full voice-acting for all except Link
Lets use this thread to discuss the game on the Nintendo Switch. To help hold the tide of the wait, here are some beautiful screenshots and links for your perusal.
Man, getting into Master Mode the week before finals was not one of the best decisions I've ever made. Finished up all the opening stuff to set up the main quest, and now I've just been exploring areas that I didn't go to my first time around. Still feels fresh, beautiful, and amazing. Hyped to try out Trial of the Sword, even more hyped for that DLC.
The DLC for Zelda, Champions Ballad, releases TONIGHT folks! It looks awesome. The Game Awards just showed it all off. This looks like it'll really be a special adventure.
@r_hjort I'm almost pissed off that you can only access this after beating all 4 Divine Beasts which means I won't be able to play in Master Mode unless I rush through all 4 Beasts on my second game.
@carlosrox I suppose it makes sense for them to have it locked away like that for plot purposes, but it's too bad that you can't change your difficulty setting more easily. Then again, I think I read on ResetEra that the DLC is meant to be more challenging than the base game, so perhaps you'll get a decent challenge out of it anyway if you don't want to rush the second save.
Still picking away at the last remaining moons in Odyssey, but once I hit a wall there I'll download this. Interested in seeing what the new dungeon/shrine content is like (oh, and how useful the motorcycle will be).
I just beat Gannon last weekend. I haven't bought any expansion packs yet, but will for sure. I have Odyssey waiting to be unwrapped for Christmas, so I probably won't get this DLC until February.
