Picross has seen many variants over the years, and roughly six years after the original step into 3D, HAL Laboratory has created a sequel to Picross 3D: Round 2! Has anyone been playing this? As a major Picross addict, I unfortunately had to wait a bit to nab this one up but through the magic of birthday celebration I have my copy now and I am about a third of the way through the levels. Tons of fun going on in this 3DS.

I think the way it's been working out has been stellar. Great control and unique puzzles. I've only been playing on Hard, as the challenge is desired here, but mostly I haven't been stumped. It hasn't been easy though that's for sure.

The game isn't out yet in Europe but it'll be releasing next week. Been out here in the US of A since September, and Japan for about a year prior.
