Welcome to another installment of the Negative World Podcast! Hope you're listening on an empty stomach and ready for Corrin! We've got Joe (Ninsage) and Stephen (DrFinkelstein) with long-time friend of the show, Paul (Ploot)!

The guys jump right in with some Now Playing. There's discussion on Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past, Rodea the Sky Soldier, Chibi Robo: Zip Lash, TMNT 3: The Manhattan Project, Banjo-Tooie, Banjo-Kazooie, and finally, DrFink updates folks on his Living Dex with help from Pokemon Omega Ruby.

Later on after the break the guys get around to discussing some news that hit in early September in Nintendo's last Nintendo Direct. They ponder the relevance of 3DS versions of Wii U titles like Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS and Yoshi's Woolly World for 3DS. Other news caught everyone's ears too so stay tuned for more discussion!

Negative World's site owner and operator, Zero provides the intro and outro. Music at the break is a great up-lifting track from Dragon Quest VII.

Stephen and Joe and Paul, oh my! Yet another fun-filled, action-packed episode of my favorite podcast, woohoo! As always, I thoroughly enjoyed the show. I plan on eventually getting Dragon Quest VII, but part of me still really wants to play the original on the ps1 (which I own). Much as I appreciate newer, improved versions of games, there's a part of me that likes to experience them as originally created, warts and all. Also, if I do pick up the 3DS version, I may use it as a study tool in learning Japanese, because I also own the Japanese version of the 3DS game. I think it'd be neat to play them side by side.
Apologies for not contributing to the SSB brackets. Much as I love that game, I honestly don't play enough to have well-formed thoughts on the myriad characters. And speaking of not contributing, like Joe, I rarely join the month-specific game events. I have learned over the years that I'm miserable at appointment gaming. And honestly, I'm just not gaming very much at all recently. Besides the new streetpass games (most of which I'm really enjoying) the only game I've spent significant time on lately is Jotun on the Wii U, which is magnificent.
Well fellows, thanks again for the great podcast. It's always a pleasure!

@Koovaps

Thanks for listening Brandon.

Perhaps one day I'll play some Dragon Quest VII myself but I feel like it's more likely I'll play Dragon Warrior on the NES since I own it and just bought the manual and such from a local Windsor game shop.

I'm not very good at appointment gaming either and I should stop trying to be. I haven't had time to touch ZombiU for the Shocktoberfest. I love the idea of the event but I'm just poor at it. Maybe when I was younger it would be easier. So much demandingness these days from life and there are other things that I need to accomplish at home which take precedence.

Glad you're enjoying Jotun. I've heard good things.

@NinSage

When I tell a bad joke, there are only two paths to go… the cutting room floor… or just to own it and do something like that, lol.
