Why not sign up for a (free) account?

I knew this was a week when we'd get another SNES 3DS VC title. I was really, REALLY hoping for Mega Man X. Instead we get...Mega Man...(glee!)...7. (oh)

Eh, not what I wanted per se, but...eh. It's still Mega Man. I'll take it.

Hey. Also: Gunslugs. Neat. This retro-style homage to Contra and Metal Slug seems pretty cool. Got some pretty good reviews when it came out on Vita.

Anyone know anything about Drill Dozer? That's one of those games I've always been vaguely aware of but completely clueless about.

@nate38

Yeah, it's super rad. Great game. The entire game is based around a drilling mechanic, which you power up on each level to end up with three levels of drilling. You can also reverse drill at times. It's actioney and platformey. It had the gimmick of rumble in the cart which added a bunch to the appeal of the original, but I'd imagine it holds up without.

Edit:
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention this about this weeks downloads.

No physical copy for Rhythm Heaven!?!?! Sonofamotherlessgoat!!! I just got back from Japan today and and picked up a N3DS while I was there. Had I known we weren't getting a physical release, I would have gotten it while I was there. Arghhhhh!!!

Love Drill Dozer! Big brown cart with the rumble in it, I'd try to find a physical copy honestly, it's great on GBA, sure it will be good on VC too but something about the original with rumble is really awesome.

@nate38

Drill Dozer is cool. As one my suspect, I own the physical GBA cart. Fun game. Made by the same company that does the Pokémon games. Good stuff.

I recall hearing a lot about Drill Dozer when it came out. I may finally check it out...!

I feel like Drill Dozer will be missing something without rumble, it used it very well... but it's not essential to the experience or anything.

Well there you go. Everyone should have a pro controller already.

I'm guessing the GamePad would rumble as well, no? Ryan probably just went straight to the Pro controller.

The pro controller rumbles...? I didn't think it did.

After verification: the GamePad is missing the rumble.

Drill Dozer, eh? I might need to check this out based on y'alls recommendations.

Did NONE of you play Drill Dozer before? No wonder Game Freak sticks to Pokemon. And why the GBA got voted out of the favorite console poll.

Hope you guys packed some bags for this guilt trip I'm trying to put you on.

I own the cartridge.

I don't love the game, personally.

@GameDadGrant DID YOU MISS MY POSTS.

I played it. Forget if I finished it. It was decent, but it didn't totally grab me.

@GameDadGrant

I'm surprised and pleased to see Mega Man 7 come to the New 3DS VC. The 3DS is really a pretty awesome system which it comes to being able to play classic Mega Man games for affordable prices.
