We’re well on our way through the first round of voting. Things will certainly heat up as this time we’re in the Volcano Bracket, named for the Volcano Badge received from Cinnabar Island in the Kanto Region. This set of Pokemon includes some more unique Pokemon in my opinion. A lot of fan-favorites which got mentioned in the initial seed thread are in this bracket. In my copy of Pokemon Yellow, I just chose to glitch a Mew and use him to replace the very Abra I needed for the event. Will Mew eclipse Alakazam in the coming bracket? We shall see… (Be sure to tell us why in the comments along with your votes!)
For information on the overall polling and how these Pokemon were picked, check out the first and original poll for this March Madness Bracket found here.

Polls are open until Thursday, March 17th, 2016 at 11:59 PM EST. Gotta vote em' all! (and Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Make a Team of just green Pokemon to celebrate!)
Galvantula vs. Fletchling - Fletchling is cute, but Galvantula is an electric spider that looks awesome. Slowking vs. Alakazam - I just love the idea behind Slowking. Samurott vs. Psyduck - Samurott happens to be a part of my favourite started Pokemon line. Sorry Psyduck. Torterra vs. Poliwhirl - Torterra has always grabbed me because of his unique typing
Slowbro vs. Scizor - Slowbro, similarly to Slowking, has a really cool idea behind him. Ditto vs. Suicune - Ditto is super unique. There is no other Pokemon like him Steelix vs. Krookodile - No real reason behind this, I just like Krookodile Charmander vs. Mew - Gotta vote for Charmander.
It was also one of the stars of my heavily modified Bolt Twister deck during my recent lapse back into the Pokémon TCG. Nothing overly spectacular on it's own, but pairing it with my utterly monstrous Feraligatr saw that deck create utter carnage.
Nothing ruins an opponents day faster than constantly forcing him to switch active Pokémon and deal with constant confusion.
EDIT: BTW, know what's a crappy card?
Bah. Look at that attack. 'Me first'. What a git of a Pokémon.
I scanned in the Galpooptula card I got in my last booster pack, to show you, before I threw it in the trash and made an awesome deck of nothing but Fletchlings. The Fletchling deck is undefeated, because when I bring out Fletchling the opponent is like "THAT IS SO CUTE OMG" and then they give up because no one wants to hurt something that unbelievably adorable.
