Done! I'll spiffy thus one up a but when I get back from out of state. Here for some sudden family business.
However, my copy of Xenoblade Chronicles X is arriving tomorrow and I am stoked! The reviews have been generally positive. I guess the game lacks slightly in areas but they can be overlooked for the sheer density and fun this game has. Looking forward to diving into it next week. Hopefully when I return sunday.
Also don't forget to do the Soul Voices which is pressing B when the prompt pops up during battle. It regenerates your HP every time you successfully hit it and if someone calls out a green Art which is indicated by the flashing icon in your Art setup, if you have any green ones. If not, you can always go and customize your current Arts and put one in, as well as any other healing that you may have.
Just go REGISTER your character. YOU don't have to do anything. And for the "online" stuff...I'm yet to fight side-by-side with anybody, so I think I was mistaken in the online possibilities. Which is a bummer. Honestly.
I don't know if you mind knowing this ahead of time, but I'll be careful in case you consider features a spoiler.
When you beat the game, you unlock the possibility to do missions with folks in real-time, kind of Monster Hunter-style.
Yeah... I thought that's how it worked too. I've gotten invitations from people to participate in the "Global Nemesis" event that's been going on, then again it's only been by level 60 people so I won't even bother
Crap.. I didn't read your spoiler so I have no idea what you're talking about (and I probably DO consider it a spoiler), but based on what Zero and V are saying, I'm guessing its an "I'll find out later when I'm better leveled" thing? Hmm...
Is it related to that "Squad" (Lifehold?) thing filling up? Is it filled up now? I'm afraid to look!
..this is more confusing than I anticipated. What Level are you now? I think I'm up to 26. Just upped my guys with their new levels of armor last session, which was a pretty fun moment. I'd been getting some Worn stuff here and there so I was in early, but yeah. Pretty close to some new WEAPONS, too, which should be good.
When you were giving armors to your folks, did you care about their native armor class? Not sure if we already talked about this. Liiiike, for instance, I'm a Medium guy (for whatever reason), with Lin retaining Light wear, and Elma continuing on with her Light Skell gear. I figured to give the 3rd Party stuff to L just because. I don't know who else can use that, and I've forgotten the name.
How many levels of R&D do they have? I've been trying to spread it out paying equal attention to Sakaruba and Grenada, but my guy wears Sakaruba so it gets a lot more action.
I'm level 25 right now. As for armor, I just give whatever I feel like giving them. Following some sort of constant with stats is already confusing as is so I just do whatever I think looks good stats wise. I also give some of them fashion wear anyway so it doesn't matter what I gear them up with. My main character was going shirtless for a while Oh and the R&D level maxes out at 5.
Ah, cool (on the R&D, I'm getting close. I think I'll just polish off Sakaruba and be done with it.).
I haven't used any of the fashion gear yet. I did see your shirtless guy though, haha. I thought about getting the Heart Glasses on someone (Lin?), but I felt like it would look weird out there. (But when I get that Bunny Outfit? WATCH OUT.) Did you do the Affinity Quest (I think?) for searching for Tatsu's caravan / his father's glasses? I laughed out loud at the big reveal; it was good!
I also liked (may've been the same mission) when Tatsu said he tasted "like poop...and poison!"
Well crap. Was it...in the kitchen? I'm pretty sure it wasn't Chapter 4....
I'll check some of my Yellow Shields and see which hex its on. I had Lin and me and Elma and..I think it was set in Noctilum? It wasn't a normal mission. Oh, wait. I think its in the Commercial District, north of the buildings but on a street / corner. Tatsu and this guy are face to face who clearly must be twins. I can't remember what its called. Maybe look for one thats like Lv14-20? I'm doing my quests in order of increasing Level, and I haven't done a Lv25 yet, so it must be below those. Do you have to do other Affinity Missions in order to get others to unlock?
EDIT- Alright, here it is: The Ties That Bind (Complete Chapter 4, Inner Level 15, Elma + Lin; Commercial District, East Melville St)
EDIT AGAIN - And I just learned that there is a 20% penalty to EXP received when fighting an enemy weaker than you with a minimum of 2 EXP. That would explain why I'm getting 2 EXP..constantly.
Yeah I don't know what happened but something really clicked with this game and now I'm back to enjoying the heck out of it. It still has issues but yeah, so fun anyway. Also gotta love finding new clothes or upgrading the fancy clothes from the new armor devs I unlocked. Gotta look good now and actually wear a top Really love mixing and matching gear and not have to sacrifice stats in order to look good.
Yeah I thought it would be funny to dress her up in heavy armor And yeah, I just went with nearly random colors for the barracks and I actually like the wild colors haha. Hoping the next BLADE level unlocks something a bit more interesting for customizing options.
