Nintendo, please have Shin'en make a new F-Zero game. They clearly want to.

Yeah, I honestly don't remember what it had. These days I play Time Attack mainly to enjoy my favourite tracks without having to play an entire cup.

Is this the official thread for RMX as well now? I'm just wondering if anyone has any tips to do well or if this game is just really HARD on the easiest setting. Really finding it difficult to really grasp this game's controls and speed. The fast and heavy ships have awful controls on the sharp turns without bumping all over the place while the lighter ships with acceleration never achieve the required speeds to have a good position at the end of a track. There's no trick to sharper turns aside from using the triggers, right?

The Wii U version was a real bitch, but it feels like I can just boost against the walls, Burnout (3+) style, and stumble my way to victory in RMX. As long as I don't hit an instadeath obstacle or fly off of the track.

I guess the main key is to hit as many boosts as possible and pick up orbs regularly. ABB. Always Be Boosting. It seems like, as long as you have one orb, you can boost.

@Anand

That's basically what I do and it really doesn't work on some of the later cups.

Drift towards the inside wall and start turning before you think you have to if you know the sharp turn is coming. It's also helpful to have a little boost in reserve so you can get back up to speed quickly when you mess up.

Or you could try a higher speed mode. Once you adjust to that the first mode will feel slow
