So, how are you liking this game? I think it's fun. I'm playing it in small doses. I'm on battle 42 of about 159 (for now). I already got the Mew from a special event, too. I haven't captured all the pokemon I have battled. I'm focusing on moving forward and then coming back to catch them all. I AM making exceptions for those pokemon I can actually Mega Evolve.
By the way, how does this game compare to Pokemon Trozei? I haven't played that one.
The metal blocks automatically disappear after 5 turns, and the board will then clear itself on skyfall- Unless of course you buggered the board halfway through and it reset .
15 Pokemon, 5 matches of 3- No combos, and don't leave yourself out of position, particularly on the last turn.
It's strange that Mega Gardevoir is only running through tomorrow. Usually the competitions run for 2 weeks rather than just 1. I wish that they would police these Ditto players a little more efficiently too... My ranking is low enough that I might be in danger if there's only five Ditto users, but if there's 1000+ Ditto users, then I'm in good shape.
The past few competitions have all lasted for two weeks. But maybe that's because they were repeats. Looking through Bulbapedia now, there were a number of new contests that ran for 10 days, not just one week.
I booted up the game after not playing for a few weeks (months?), bombed on Tornadus, and then failed to catch the Daily Pokemon with about 35% four times. Back into the virtual closet it goes...
Rumble World isn't the most elegant design, but at least you always get something tangible when you play.
@Jargon I mean, eye of the beholder, and all that. Some people think games, in general, are a waste of time.
I did enjoy the opening stretch of Pokemon Shuffle. I feel like the endgame is just brick wall after brick wall, though. More stick than carrot. I can understand why they made it that way, but are you happy with the balancing?
@Jargon Like, by the actual original definition of the word? That's true, but there's a popular usage ("tangible progress") which doesn't necessarily require physicality. Something you can figuratively feel, rather than physically.
