Pick the MAX you would be ok with. Ok as in feel like it is a fair price.

Mario Kart 8 is pretty awesome, but the battle mode that is just battling on the regular courses... sorry, weaksauce. I don't particularly want to pay more money for a battle mode that should have been there but... I will! ADD A DLC BATTLE MODE NINTENDO!

By "traditional" I mean with the type of battle-specific maps that we have seen in the old games. And for the sake of argument, let's assume that there would be about 5-8 maps or whatever also like the (recent) old games. Including a few retro maps (Block Fort!) And maybe 2-3 varities... balloon battle as one, maybe bring back bob-omb battle and some new thing, I dunno.

Yeah, it's obvious that the battle mode that they gave us was a total way to cut corners and get the game out on time, start helping Wii U sales. I get that. Now the game is out and has been doing just that, however, so it would be a really awesome gesture to go back and give us a selection of some legit battle courses sometime before the next batch of tracks.

I'm still, ultimately, really happy with what they have done with this game, and the DLC that they have planned already is still one of the greatest values I've seen from any publisher.

I don't need/want/like battle modes in Kart. I had SO much fun w/ battle mode with this one friend during SNES era. But, that was then. These days? #settleitinsmash

Bring back Double Decker and let us drive on the walls and ceilings as well. Every surface is accessible somehow.

Don't care. I wouldn't mnd if Mario Kart was all racing and Battle Mode disappeared completely.

As much as I enjoy Mario Kart 8, the battle mode lacks presence without any arenas. I'd be thrilled if some worthwhile content unique to that mode was implemented, so I'd probably spend $10 dollars on it. Maybe more depending on what's there.

$0. MK battle mode is alright but it isn't something I'd care enough to pay for.
