amiibo is certainly turning out to be a big thing in Nintendo's eyes. Whether or not the rewards for utilizing each amiibo is worthy to you, Nintendo plans to implement all sorts of bonuses. It appears right now that every amiibo is meant to do 'something' in each game though games not featuring certain characters may have more limited uses or lesser-valued ones. We've had plenty of threads on here for amiibo and I'm sure that will continue. Still, I wanted to establish a general discussion thread that doesn't have a specific focus or thought. I'm a youngster who has a lot of youngster friends who play video games. I invite people over from time to time to play board games like Catan and games like Mario Kart and Smash. Gathering 8 people to do stuff is kinda way easier for me, I guess.

Also, Nappa is lvl 45 and I'm starting to like its AI a lot. Amiibos are so fun. I'll see if I can get another one by this year's end.

We were lucky during University.
Throughout our stay at our renatal house we always had Mario Party playing, as a rotating group of people popped on to play throughout every day.

This started with the N64 games then moved onto GCN. I sometimes miss those mostly carefree times.

My Gold Mario has shipped! Woo!

Also my Luigi and Yoshi from the Mario Bros series did. Finally, all of my Toad amiibo shipped. I might have extras if people need them. I gotta see if anyone in the family wants the spares.

I have no desire to own any of the Super Mario line of amiibos. I think they actually look cheap in quality compared to rhe Smash line, plus I don't need two marios, luigis, ect. I honestly think the gold mario is the gaudiest looking of the entire bunch. It the same pose, only covered in gold paint, as the super mario figure. I might pick up a toad one, still not sure, there is actually a ton of the toads at my two local gamestops and at both walmarts. Its a shame the quality of these amiibos are not the same as their smash counterparts.

I might be knocking on your door about a Toad..

So I grabbed the Mario line since TRU has a 3 for $30 going on here in Canada. I didn't realize how much bigger the SMB figures are compared to the Smash Bros. group. They sort of stand out if I keep them all together. Ah well, time to start up another shelf!

Yeah, no luck with gold Mario here either. I changed my mind late last evening that I had zero desire to go to walmart at midnight for a variant. I did check before work, though, but they had nothing at all. None of the new amiibo. My wife checked the local target, and they, too, had nothing out at open. Thankfully, Target had them out when I checked this evening. I bought Toad and Luigi. Not certain I'll buy any others from this set. We shall see.

I'm quite a fan of the Mario Line. Still don't plan to get them all. I'm happy with Yoshi, Luigi, and Toad.
