Starting to get down to things now! The stages in the first matchup are both just decent, so it was pretty much a tossup there. Mushroom Kingdom II is one of my faves though so I'm still going with that one.

Corneria is a great stage, and I've never been very fond of the Brinstar/Zebes levels.

Second match-up was a lot tougher. I really like both stages, but I have to give Mushroom Kingdom II the slight edge.

Corneria and Zebes is a close one but Corneria is more classic to me as it is essentially a remake of the most classic 64 stage.

Kingdom II was an easy choice. Yoshi's Story is boring.

I think it's because perhaps the others these were against were even worse! Though I'm an okay fan of them all.

@DrFinkelstein I think that's a bit of a cynical way of looking at it. I think they're just that awesome.

Corneria is blowing away Brinstar. Did not necessary expect that to be the case.

As the only guy who voted for Brinstar, don't remind me.

It was actually a pretty close one for me but Corneria just feels like the classic Smash stage to me. Albeit it started off as Sector Z, but still, same stage really.

I'm actually not so surprised, people's comments on Corneria in earlier matches made it sound like a fan fave. It was actually a close battle for me and I think I would have chosen Brinstar if it were just a little larger.
