(6) Dream Land (N64/Melee)
vs. (64) Pirate Ship (Brawl)
(52) New Pork City (Brawl)
vs. (2) Congo Jungle (N64/Melee)
1. Pretty close call. Ultimately, Venom feels a little too segregated, and I think a Mario Kart stage is a good idea.
2. Another pretty close one, but I prefer the N64's classic stage. (that said, I prefer the N64 Green Greens too...)
3. Lylat Cruise is a neat level. Lots of eye candy but still fun to fight on, much like Delfino.
4. Big Blue was quite the spectacle at the time.
5. I love Delfino. Sector Z is a good one too, but Corneria improved on it.
6. Distant Planet always had a weird layout to me, like most of the level was on the left side of the screen. Saffron City is one of the N64's best stages, IMO.
7. Love that Pirate Ship! It might be up there with Corneria as my all-time favorite Smash stage. Beautiful, great music, fun as heck to fight on. Just terrific.
8. I hate to say it (as a huge Mother 3 fan), but NPC was a sloppy letdown. Congo Jungle ain't bad. |
