Wii U Virtual Console: What are your top three games for GBA and DS that you want to see? [roundtable]

I did Top Tens for both the GBA games and the DS games before and my wishes haven't changed one bit. I want the Castlevania Trilogies for both systems on the Virtual Console.

Since we're getting games for both systems on the Wii U, what are your Top 3 choices for each system?

I think I'd mostly want imports.

GBA:
Kuru Kuru Kururin
Mother 3
Rythm Tengoku

DS:
Ouendan
Game Center CX 2
SaGa 2 and 3

Do you speak (or rather, read) Japanese?

Unless they are on some super special sale, like Metroid was at one point, or they are via the Club Nintendo point exchange, my answer would be "None." I don't really care for handheld games on a console.

i'd rather play HANDHELD, games on a HANDHELD system, thank you very much

1. N64 games
2. Gamecube
3. Those other VC systems nobody cares about (did anyone even buy c64 games on the wii vc)

This sums up my feelings exactly. I could even do without #3.

@GameDadGrant

No, but in the ideal scenario Nintendo is at least localizing Mother 3.

Kururin and Rhythm Tengoku don't really require reading.

On the DS side, again Ouendan can be played feeling your way through menus.

GC CX 2 and SaGa are the most unlikely releases and the most text-heavy, but a guy can dream. Probably you can get through Game Center with a FAQ? And I've played the original SaGa games on Game Boy so much, I don't think I need the text.

@Guillaume

Yeah you're right, the rhythm games don't require much actual reading. So I'd probably be cool with those...but like you said, the RPGs would be tough and not likely get localized.

I was just curious about your knowledge of Japanese; wasn't sure if you suddenly became trilingual...or always were and I never knew?!?

Yeah I'd love to know what the hold up is with the N64 games. I kind of feel like all of these games are just ready to go but they're being held back due to some arbitrary schedule or something.
