When Pushmo on the 3DS first released, it truly meant the world to me as a gamer... and now Pushmo World is finding it's way to Wii U.

Pushmo World is a game releasing on the Wii U eShop on June 19th, 2014 worldwide. While the release date is still two weeks away, apparently reviews are dropping quite frequently and should continue to do so leading up to it!

There looks to be a bunch more puzzles to complete and perhaps a few new little changes. How do you think Pushmo World will change or stay the same? What do you hope for the title? Are you excited to create and share glorious HD puzzles? Let us know what you think and when the game releases, use this thread to share your puzzles with the world!

Why not sign up for a (free) account?

I don't know. The hair-pulling-out and involvement in all of this scares me a bit. "But it's great!," and blah blah, but I've got a lot of other GREAT time-consuming games to play and finish, ie: XENOBLADE.

I already kinda feel frustrated by it, and it hasn't even dropped yet. Not a good sign.

@Mr_Mustache

Why frustrated? Maybe 10-15% of the puzzles in the original were 'hair-pulling-frustrating'. A majority of the game (which is a significant amount) is challenging enough to be really fun.

Plus it's in puzzles, so you can take them at your own pace.

@DrFinkelstein

Puzzles are the kinds of things I like to solve instantly, and when I can't figure them out, I get PISSED. And I'm the type of person who won't give up on something until it is solved, so I can see myself being stuck FOREVER and that being that.

I just got stuck on a little treasure chest puzzle thing in Golden Sun for an hour or so. Did not like.

I'm not sure which puzzles games are for you then. There's always that risk of getting stuck. IF you can't enjoy the easier puzzles because of the others, then yeah I wouldn't recommend the download cause I'm certain there will be some real stinkers in this one. I just hope they pace things the same way as before (or even nicer than before).

Got it. Played a bit. It's Pushmo. A bit frustrating that you have to go through tutorials again even if you already played the first game. Ah well.

Yeah, and a whole 'section' is given to those tutorials. Not sure if that cuts down on the overall package or if there's just more to unlock. We will see... Glad to finally be doing picture mural puzzles now though.

Got it and yea they,certainly ease you in again. Kind of a drag.

Anyone create a Pushmo yet? It doesn't seem like there's a way to see just friends' creations. When you post one does it at least show up on your friend's activity feed or something? Probably no way to access it that way anyway I suppose.

@Jargon

You can see posts on Miiverse and I guess it creates a QR code which you can then scan. But you'd either have to scan it from a Miiverse post from viewing it on another device or play it on your 3DS. Kinda annoying that Nintendo never really thinks these things through.

@Jargon

I just made one but it wouldn't let me go into the web at the QR stage, I HAD to save it at the SD card level, which was a bummer. I'll post to Miiverse perhaps. It's an ode to my girlfriend but it might be tricky for those who don't know where to start.

I'm really enjoying this game. I just finished the series of Pushmo that introduces the ladder mechanic. Pushmo are a lot of fun to climb, and the environments in which these puzzles are solved are so pleasant. I just love how this game looks and sounds.

@Octorockin

Did you play the original? I'm not sure I'm ready for more after having 100%ed that one only a year or two ago.

@Jargon

I did, but not long enough to get past the tutorials and really get into the game.

The only thing I'm not really liking about this game is for a "veteran" there are a lot of easy puzzles. Plus the "training" stuff essentially just rehashes stuff you do in the main game, so it seems pointless. Basically if you do the training and normal stuff, you can do a good 60 or 70 puzzles before you hit any real challenge.

Otherwise, it's more Pushmo, which is definitely a good thing. I'm curious how much more is left, but I'll find out that on my own.

I got this for free yesterday (it was the only CN Platinum game I didn't own already) and plunged in...71 levels later, I'm hooked again.
