First off: this game is really funny! A lot of thought was put into the dialogue. I want to purchase all the games just to see where the story goes with Rusty and his wife.

Second: the minigames are fun! There are a ton of challenges, with endless modes and streetpass high scores.

Third: Haggling is an enjoyable mechanic. It's rewarding, and fun to see how low you can bring Rusty on his prices. The choice of dialogue, use of items, etc, all impact your bottom line spending on the games.

The game is growing on me a bit, I still only have the first batting game purchased but man, it has a lot of content!

What is a good one to get next? It seems people are pretty happy with all of them, but some have to be better than others...

@Zero

I went from batting, to more batting, to fielding, to umping. The batting cage stuff, while cool, was unnecessary right away. I'd recommend fielding or umping, for a nice change of pace. Fielding for some quick reflex stuff, or umping for something completely different.

@Zero
Umpiring and fielding are my favorites so far.

It's weird. I thought the batting cage would be pointless, but by the time I unlocked it I really enjoyed what it had to offer.

The Pop and Drop game might be the most underrated. Really addictive.

Dislike the bat bounce/glove cleaning game. Probably won't bother getting their uniforms

God damn, I love this game. Not every game is the same level of quality, but there's a whole lot of simple, fun, novel content here. And it really DOES nail the satisfaction of many aspects of baseball. Even the story aspects make me laugh out loud! Rusty rules.

Next time that someone says that Nintendo never has any new IPs, I'm gonna be like, "Shut up and play Rusty's Real Deal Baseball!" And then when they come back with "Yeah, but I mean new IPs on the level of Mario and Zelda!" I'm gonna say, "Shut up and play Rusty's Real Deal Baseball!"

Love iiiiit.

I've been playing more of this game lately! It's so great. I'm not sure if anyone made this comparison back when it came out, but going back to it now, it's like a modern take on Game & Watch. Just these tiny mini-games with a lot of variation on one idea. Having challenges in addition to Game A and Game B endless modes is a great way of adding more progression and room for practice. I think I might drop this when Clubhouse Games comes out in 90 MINUTES, so I wanted to post here now while this is still fresh in my mind!

Ah, the 3DS... the one that got away...
