So it's one of those "auto-run to the right and avoid obstacles" games, eh? I guess I should finally check out the best free ones to practice right now.
The slide makes it instantly bad ass. I LOVE games where you can slide for some reason. Hopefully that's an earlier level and they all aren't just on a loop like that.
Anyway... kind of really reminds me of the Hyper Funk Zone areas of ToeJam & Earl 2.
Will buy. They did a good job of building awesome combo systems into the other games which sort of make the games transcend each moment and become a bigger thing... so I'd bet we will see something like that in this one as well.
I do not have Core but Void is definitely much, much easier than Beat. In fact, I played the hell out of Beat and still never got to the end, whereas I got to the end of Void in a couple of sittings. Didn't beat it though, the actual end is sort of tough... or at least, confusing enough that it seemed tough...
Void is easier only because you're allowed to screw up once, and can restart from the last checkpoint. But then you lose all your points. So I'd say it's easier to complete, but harder to get a high score. Core is definitely the toughest of the bunch to consistently nail combos.
