Not sure if this will help your issue, but I find that pointing at the screen and pressing down on the DPad between every single point really helped the controls.
Lou is a bowling machine. I bowled a 204 today (for the life of me, couldn't find my shot consistently) and I still didn't beat Lou. I think he has 241 on the leaderboards? Wowza.
Anyway, Club Alabama rocks.
I wish we could create a Club Negative World and slowly take over the leaderboards...
Also, minor complaints (which I'm hoping they fix via patch, not sure if this applies to Tennis or not): when I finish a game in single player: 1. I don't have the option to change modes (I can either quit to the main menu or replay the same game I just played) and 2. Shouldn't it say "Replay" instead of "Rematch" if I'm playing local by myself? Grammar annoyance.
Resurrecting this thread since I just saw this Wii U commercial for the first time! The fact that they're using the gamepad for the ball like we saw in one of the first Wii U trailers shown definitely increases the likelihood of me getting Golf!
EDIT: One day I'll memorize NW's markups....one day ;p
@Jargon I played a few rounds, but only did the free trial. Yeah, I'm having a hard time hitting it straight and far too. I like a challenge, but real golf is difficult enough, I want my video golf a little more forgiving.
I played an hour and ten minutes of whatever was left of my free trial of Tennis. I made it to rank 7 by slaughtering online opponents. Once I got the nuances of the game, I was able to defeat most challenges, with the exception of a star 1 and rank 10 guy, who were too tough for me. I plan on buying tennis. If you look at my Miiverse posts, in the span of about 45 minutes, I went from being terrible to Sampras-like. So much fun. I was fist pumping by myself in the living room.
I used up my free day pass a couple weeks ago. Maybe the next time a new sport is released we should all do the free day pass on the same day so that we can play online together! (I don't own any of the games since I don't see myself playing them much, but I'll take my free day passes, thank you very much.)
