Is anyone excited? It'll be a look at games being released by the end of the year, so I expect some footage of Link Between Worlds, the 3D Mario game, and maybe even a moment on Wind Waker HD since the physical copy is not out yet.
I think this is a case of UK English vs. US English. Bummed here in the US means disappointed. In the UK, well, let's just say it means something else.
I am merely pointing out that I remember a massive rant aimed at the E3 conference which I would not describe as "a little bummed". It was meant as a joke though, no ill intentions meant.
I was disappointed by the original trailer too btw, this new one seems amazing.
Something I don't think many (or any?) have mentioned: I wonder what the new DLC will be for Kid Icarus: Uprising, Super Mario 3D Land, and Mario Kart 7? I wasn't really aware these games were "set up" for extra content/features, but apparently that will be the case.
I'm especially intrigued by Super Mario 3D Land, since unlike the other two games, it's not online. I'm not sure how it's going to be able to receive new content. Color me curious!
Man, seriously? My local Best Buy does have a Nintendo Zone, but it's awkward to go there just for that...couldn't they just set it up as SpotPass, especially if it's worthless DLC?
I think it's still too early to say for sure that content will be worthless, though it is a fair prediction. Even if it is an extra character skin or something, I'll take it.
Animal Crossing has functionality built in to download DLC from Nintendo Zones. The other games don't and I highly doubt they'd be patched to include it so long after they came out.
I'm under the impression that the Nintendo Zone content is going to be special StreetPass stuff for those games, like Iwata's ghost data for MK7, for instance.
It seems extremely unlikely to get extra content like this (so late after the game already launched as it was already pointed out) shoved as a Nintendo Zone "exclusive." Whatever it is, even if actual in-game content, is still probably nothing to get excited over.
