Actually it looks a lot like Twilight Princess with kid Link. But sadly, because of gamers and gaming journalists, I doubt we'll ever see kid Link again in a home console Zelda.

Wait... there is no undo button? This would heavily annoy me.

I'll probably get it anyway though, because why not.

@Zero

If they had Undo and Copy/Paste, it would make some of the tasks a bit less realistic.

Paint Brushes would be a very welcome addition. I like using those with pastels.

@Simbabbad

I agree, it does have a TP look and feel. I just wish they'd make a game that my imagination ran with when I played Zelda for the first time (aka the instruction manual).

@DrFinkelstein
Nice! Good plasticy glow on the his hair there.

@Abdooooo
Beautiful artworks! Gives off that sense of exploration that I associate with Zelda. Not a fan of Link's face, though. Could it be the bushy eyebrows?

@Abdooooo If I wanted realistic, I'd get a canvas and paintbrushes, DUH. I love digitally creating things precisely because I can screw up thousands of times and easily erase my screw ups.

@Zero

We await your revival of the Colors 3D thread. ;)

@r_hjort

Thanks! I was hoping someone would mention something about my pic. Good or bad. :)

@Zero

Canvas and paintbrushes are a MESS, and INSANELY expensive.

@Simbabbad
Sure hope you're wrong. And that would get stale.

I'm still waiting for early/mid teens link.

@carlosrox
Yes! We need more protagonists with acne, unwanted erections and who are awkward around the opposite sex!

Speak for yourself and quit PROJECTING :D

I mean more like 13-15 tops. I keep thinking of the Oracles design. Freakin' great. And funny you mention that "awkward time", why not play with it? People say OOT symbolized something similar, why not do it again? It's also just an age/look of Link that's gone mostly ignored. In WW he was apparently 10-12 but he really looked 5-7, it to mention the style f the game sort of reflected that.

We have no early teens Link!! How old was he in Oracles anyway?

@carlosrox
I wouldn't mind a young teen Link, but I don't really have a preference or wish for a particular age period like that, apart from maybe childhood in general. The idea of being a child hero is appealing to me, since a kid has so much against them physically, and the grown-ups tend to look down on them. I suppose it's the unlikely hero aspect in there that I like. A geriatric Link could work too for me, I guess.

These are just... wow.

Azeke posted these over on the NWR forums and I just had to share them here. Links to the Miiverse post added if you want to give a "Yeah."

Jesus Christ.

Haha funny how they made Kaneda look like a little kid.

I've been so off drawing it hurts my soul. I need to get back into it. Probably my worst drought...ever. It's just been a crazy year for me. I was doing okay when this app first released but I lost it so quick shortly after. Oh drawing how I've missed you. I can hardly even muster post-it doodles these days.

Whoa. Miyazaki and that plastic figurine (Bulma?) blew my mind. The map of Middle-Earth - holy crap, but also why?!

It's hard to believe this is a drawing.

Oh I forgot this even had a discussions thread. I'll stick this in here since it's kinda amusing

Tried my first lesson with the paint brushes today. It's new to this (wasn't in Sketch Pad anyway) and pretty fun to use. I like how you see all of the brush strokes in your painting too.

Not a GREAT one but nice to experiment with!

@VofEscaflowne

This stuff is too wild. Is it hard, or is it really easy? I remember Abdooooo doing some sweet drawings before, too.
Posted: 06/30/15, 06:17:06
@Mr_Mustache

Not too bad really. Some people will spend hours on a drawing but these lessons so far have lasted half an hour, maybe a bit more. Depends how much you want to detail your picture but just following the lessons step by step will probably make it a bit shorter since they never (so far) have you detail the pictures a ton. You can if you want to of course.

@VofEscaflowne

Well whatever the case, I think you're doing a fine job out there.
