I highly suggest getting this game! Why?

+It's a single screen multiplayer brawler but not just a Towerfall clone like so many others are. It's team based, and it has different roles! And strategy! 3 different ways to win a match!
+It has 8 player battles. How many other Switch games have simultaneous 8 player action?
+It also has online! We could make a NW team and go kick everyone else's butt!
+It's a bunch of fun!
+The developers are from Chicago. Experience the patented Chicago style gameplay!

So I mistakenly thought this had 8 player battles on the same system but I guess it is only 4 per system... you need at least 2 systems if you want to play 8 players. Hmm, a little disappointing. Anand / Brandon... one of you needs to get this game!

Anyway, played a few hours, it's super fun! Not *quite* the same experience of playing with a bunch of raucous drunks in an arcade, but still fun!

My only small complaint about my game is the same one I have about the arcade game... most matches I play, no matter who I play with, tend to end in military victories. I'd say probably 60-70% end that way. Especially if the 2 queens are constantly going after each other, like they often are. And now with all of these new weapons it seems even easier to kill a queen? I think they could balance it a bit better by making military victories a little harder somehow. Just a little. The ideal balance would be all types of victories happening at about the same amount over time... 33%ish for each type of victory, a super balanced game. Right?

But still, it's very fun!

I love it!

Your one complaint is mine as well, though. I’ve been in matches, nearly getting that snail across the line, then BAM! Military victory.

More people should get this so we can wreak havoc online.

@Zero
Yeah, it's kind of weird that there's no 8p support on one Switch. Ask the developers why!

I don't know them that well!

Get the game and play online with us! And then we can play 8 players at the next party!

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I got this game! When is the next party? I hope this doesn't become like Rocket League where we play it once and then no one ever mentions it again...

I play Rocket League all the time!

I'm actually on break right now so totally down to play some games!
01/01/20, 19:32
I also want to play Killer Queen Black and Rocket League. We need a good way to do game invites.

This is Tim Rogers' #2 game of the decade! Well, the original is, and that one has ten players I think?

I'm usually on Discord when I'm playing games, so someone can get my attention by using the @Mop it up feature.

Finally played this with three buddies from IGN. Definitely fun, and with less lag than I expected from an 8-player cross-platform connection.

ROR2 is the new hotness.

Get on that.
