Dunno if this is a new eShop sale or just the one Zero mentioned above (edit: er, last page), but I was looking through the games on sale right now and WOW there are some deals. I have no money to spend on such things right now, but if I did I would snatch up deBlob for $15 immediately.

Nintendo eShop Deals.

Maybe there are some old Nintendo eShop cards hiding in a drawer or something..............

Not sure there is anyone here who still doesn't have a Switch but they are now offering $35 of eShop credit when you buy a Switch (in North America anyway.)

My buddy literally got his Switch yesterday. He's a bit perturbed!

Return it!

Target buy 2 get 1 free on a lot of games

I THINK it is in store as well, but it definitely works online.

@Zero

Not all games. There are limited exceptions. Excludes 3DS and select Switch titles. That’s what my ad says. Not sure which games are excluded, though.

Seems most first party stuff is off limits, but a few games are available.

DARN. Well, I don't need any new games anyway.

Resident Evil 2 remake is $39.99 this week at Best Buy!

Target is having a buy one, get a second at 50% off sale on select video games starting today:

Of course, it excludes almost all Nintendo titles and there's more stuff for PS4 and XBONE if you have those, but there are a few Switch games which may be worthwhile. The two Nintendo titles I see are Splatoon 2 and Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze. Some of the ones I think are notable are Mega Man 11, Crash Trilogy, Dragon Quest Builders, Sega Genesis Classics, Puyo Puyo Tetris, Sonic Mania Plus, and Tales of Vesperia.

@Abdooooo Kind of tempted to get Ni No Kuni 2 for $10 but... I really don't need another RPG right now.

@Zero

Oh interesting. Thanks for the clarification. Still, those who've been waiting for a price drop might be interested to attempt the price-matching idea.

You know what I love? That Nintendo is doing weekly eShop sales now. That is awesomesauce. It isn't always filled with titles I'd buy, but I love that this is a thing now and they send a notification when there's a new set of games on sale. I almost bought a few things because of this, and once we have an income again I'll probably take advantage. Good stuff.

@J.K. Riki

No, sales are baaaaaaaad!!!! I’m now like all those dum-dums I used to criticize with those Steam sales, buying a bunch of games I know I won’t play any time soon. I have waaaaaay too many games on the Switch. No more sales. I have no self control!!!!!
05/16/19, 04:19
@Brandon

Well I think that's an opportunity for learning self control not for avoiding it by cancelling sales!

I finally bought Shovel Knight since it's currently 50% off. Anyone who doesn't yet own it should buy it now. Not only is this the lowest price it's ever been, but soon it will be increasing to $40 US.
