BTW if you don't break your weird no weekend rule we're probably not going to be playing together much moving forward now that school has started up again because weekends are the only real time I have now.

Been watching my roommate play this game a little bit, and man, I can see why carlos (I think) called it the Breath of the Wild of multiplayer. It's a little too "gain XP on a cluttered HUD to unlock stuff in a complicated menu system" for my tastes, but the scope and creativity of everything is just awesome.

The only place I can think of that this applies is the screen in between matches? And XP and such you can mostly ignore, it's just for cosmetics, which you will barely ever unlock unless you shell out real money anyway. I never even go into the menus really. Just show up and play.
