They both come recommended for people who want some ultra violent, jump scare inducing, exploitation style survival horror with an emphasis on 'survival'. Personally I prefer the second game over the first (although I seem to be in the minority there), but they're both good if you're looking to get some quality horror going on your Switch. Both games run great on the system - even in handheld mode - and the first game comes with the Whistleblower DLC, adding a second, slightly shorter (but in my opinion better) story to the original game.
It works online, on eShop cards too! I just got a $50 eShop card for $30! This one! (I tried to stack the 15% off on top of it but it didn't work, maybe they stack with each other?)
Apparently the Target glitch is done and fixed, and many orders using it are being cancelled. Hope the folks who got it in can make it happen! Good luck. :)
Yep mine got cancelled. Darn. I was hoping since it was an electronic email order it would just go through and they would email me the code before they figured it out.
Ah well.
I'm a bit confused though... what exactly was the glitch? I mean everything seemed legit... they sent me the coupon and all, it worked on their site, etc. Did they just accidentally price it wrong? 20 off of 50 IS a lot.
I think it had to do with the stacking. No coupons are meant to stack these days. So anyone using any of those coupons probably got their order cancelled, because it was this huge thing that would have otherwise cost them millions (if not more).
Buy 2 get 1 free on all video games at Target this week!
Edit: There are a few annoying exceptions. Red Dead Redemption 2, and a good handful on Nintendo published games, if not all Nintendo published games. Boooooo!
But you can preorder games using the promotion, too.
@Brandon I assume the Game's Club works on this as well?!
Hmm, but do I need 3 new games... not really. If any Chicago people do this and need to fill out their 3 games you can pick me up a copy of Dark Souls, give it to me at the next game party (which really we should plan, do that SOON) and I'll pay you back!
Unfortunately, Dark Souls for Switch (and only Switch) seems to be one of the exemptions. Super bummer. I was probably going to get that as well. I'd be more than willing to grab anything else that is actually available, though.
There's another B2G1F sale at Meijer. No limitations! (Except for the vagaries of Meijer inventory.) I got Bayonetta, Monster Hunter, Diablo 3, Sonic Mania, Snipperclips, and Mega Man 11. A steal at $200!
