A nearby Target was clearancing out their New 2DS XLs for half off. They had two blue and one orange. For $75, I was tempted to grab that orange one to compliment my blue one. Not sure if it was this particular Target or what, but that's a crazy good deal.
Oh, I recently stopped be a Toys R Us, and the deals were complete garbagio.
You can currently buy a 6-month code for Xbox Game Pass on bestbuy.com for the low low price of $30!!! That’s 50% off the normal price! Quite a great deal in you have an Xbox one! Game Pass is brilliant. Access to all of Microsoft’s first party games for 5 bucks a month is a no brainer.
Bloodborne deluxe edition and the base version of Dark Souls 3 are 15 dollars on the PSN store. That's a great price to get into these fantastic games if you haven't yet. The Bloodborne sale is particularly good. The first mega man collection is also 6 dollars, which comes out to a dollar for each NES Mega Man. If you've been waiting, now is the time for to jump in.
Ugh, I told myself I'd buy Golf Story next time it went on sale, but now's not the best time to be picking up a game that lasts more than a few hours...
Actually a pretty solid sale. I think I'll to bite on Night in the Woods and Sega 3D collection
I'm a bit more than halfway through Night in the Woods myself. It's a 'weird' title but man it's paying off. I am really enjoying this unique narrative.
@nate38 I think that's one of the game's that Limited Run will make a physical edition of soon, if that sort of thing interests you.
@DrFinkelstein The more I think about Night in the Woods the more I realize how invested in it I actually was. Gonna have to replay it soon! Or I would, if I didn't have so much other stuff to play.
I just finished the game. I really wish I had played it maybe in more lengthy-sessions and fewer sessions, but I played the second half of the game so frequently that I really did find myself engrossed. That finale was particularly interesting. This game had me enjoying the dialogue like I never did in a game before and really had me questioning things about my own actual reality a bit too. Great title.
@DrFinkelstein It might just have the best written dialogue in a game ever. I think it's received a few prizes for it, but no matter how many it's received it's probably not many enough. It all feels real to me, and like you it had me thinking about my own life. It's a powerful game.
Wow, that's some huge praise right there! Are we talking about Golf Story? That sort of accolades makes me very interested to grab a copy for analysis purposes. You don't hear that sort of thing about a game every day! (If you don't mind my asking, for reference, what other games are on your top list of best dialogue/writing? I want to improve my own skill at game writing, so that would be useful to know! Anyone, really, feel free to chime in! :) )
@J.K. Riki @Mop it up We're talking about Night in the Woods! Well, at least I was!
Gonna have to think about what other games are my faves when it comes to dialogue and writing, but that's just another testament to Night in the Woods's greatness; I didn't actively have to think about it or compare it to anything else to give it such praise.
