Your efforts have always been appreciated and this blast through the past only solidifies that even further. I hope you enjoy this episode as much as we did while making it. It was a took some time to get produced… THANKS ZELDA! hrumpf! ;)

There isn't much use to trying to cite each game referenced in this one but I will say that Ninsage chose the music and it is grand. I'll leave it to you to find out what that big 100th episode ditty is.

Lol, well, I look forward to listening to the first 15 minutes, pausing it, and then forgetting to ever listen to the rest. As usual. Here's to another 100!

@J.K. Riki

I hope you listen past the 22~ minute mark. That's when we dive into the different shows/clips. Plus if you think about it, each little segment (some 12~ or so excluding intro and outdo) are like smaller podcasts! Plus, early on we spout some trivia about the show (such as which was the longest episode and how long was it). Fun stuff!

Looking forward to this one. I'll listen tonight, although I might skip through conversations I remember too well.

Congrats, dudes, for this milestone episode!

And thank you, Stephen, for that clip of my podcasting debut. I sometimes feel like I'm not very good at podcasting still, so this was a great reminder of where I started from. Holy crap. I must be, huh, taking at least, huh, 5 minutes to, um, say that I like cheap, uh, downloadable games?

Congratulations to you both! What a great milestone for you guys to have met.

I've really enjoyed appearing on the show over the years. Here's to another 100 more!

Been listening. I gots me some notes:

- Cool to discover that Casper helped name the podcast. He was one of my best friends from the old Wii Lobby and I miss him around here.
- lol at Negacast and Joe's explanation of it.
- My guess for Top 3 guests: Zero, Paleo and... I dunno. Anand, probably. Hey, I got two of 'em!
- Depressioncast shout out! There was only ever 1 Depressioncast, though I wrote a couple more that never got made for various reasons, mostly laziness. I've got some good ideas for another one so maybe it'll come along one of these days. Glad to hear you enjoyed it, Joe.

Still listening. More thoughts as they come along.

- Yeah, I always wished I could have made it to one of the meetups. We did do that one with Roy, Snorlax and Helium Sky and that was a lot of fun. But I'd have loved to have gone to the NYC one. Sounded like so much fun.

- I think Miiverse was designed by marketers to try to push awareness about new Wii U games to Wii U users. It killed my buzz for Miiverse the first time I logged on and saw that first screen where it shows you a bunch of Miis gathered around new games. There were some good ways it was integrated into some games - and I loved the way it was used by artists, in general - but it was never something I cared about very much.

- I really overdid the "Do the Mario" song. I figured the stupider the better. But when I played it for my wife, she asked, "Were you trying to sing it with an Arnold Schwartzenegger accent?" I was like... awwww... it was supposed to be Captain Lou. So I guess I really did succeed with that stupider thing. (Also, didn't I send you like a cheesy lounge singer version? I can't remember. I know I recorded one and thought I sent it in. I'm sure that was also incredibly stupid.)

- LOL at the shout-out to "We Are The Negative World". Joe was the only guy who actually sent me his part, for Kenny Loggins, and I almost recorded the Kenny Rogers part to do a ridiculous "Just the Kennys" version of We are the World. If I hadn't been rushed to the hospital in an ambulance that Thanksgiving, we probably would have finished it. But, c'est la vie. There are probably literally over a hundred projects for Negative World that I started and didn't finish. Add that one to the pile.

- Hahaha... I remember Octorockin's airplane thing. That was hilarious.

- Joe's catchphrase from now on needs to be "Welcome to the Negative World Podcasts, Zippity-Zam!"

- Nice to hear your tribute to Iwata. I missed that the first time around, but you guys nailed it.

- You know, it's been great hearing everyone's voices. You guys laughed about doing a clipshow, but this was really a great reminder of the vitality of Negative World over the years. Lots of great online friendships here. And most everyone is capable of talking pretty intelligently about their Nintendo hobby, too. It's been very rewarding to remember that.

I'm trying to say I love you, Negative World!

- Well, I'll spoiler this last part: Seriously, it's been great having you guys do the podcast all these years. You kept everything going at a high level of quality - and you kept 'em coming, even through a period where there wasn't a lot of big Nintendo news from week to week (and, consequently, a little less activity around here than I think a lot of us would have liked). You got the podcast to 100 episodes and, during that time, you played a vital part of the community here. I don't think anyone can fault either of you for taking your experience and creative energy and using it to start something new. I can only speak on behalf of myself, (but I'm certain it's still the predominant opinion around here): I wish you both all the success in the world with your future podcasting projects. Thank you so much for all you've done for Negative World.

Uhhhhhh, I'm pretty sure the mouth trumpeter for "Do the Mario" was ME, you rat.

I put my ALL into my recording. Booooo.

Anyway, I'll continue listening I GUESS!

@kriswright

I'm going to be out of state all weekend but I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your kind words. I really look forward to future content in whichever form that comes in but I think Negative World Podcast fans will continue to find what they've expected over the years.

It was fun for me to read your comments as they ran through the show, which I think is a pretty neat way to experience it almost in the way you experienced the show. The episode was nearly three hours long so I appreciate that you took the time to listen to it so quickly.

@ploot

A few 'segments' from past shows reach the 5-6 minute mark but many are probably on average 3-4 minutes so you may find it not even worth skipping. I hope not! Hope you like the show!

@Guillaume

I definitely couldn't have planned this episode out without referencing the it's beginnings and your first hosting gig! I'd encourage you to go back and listen to that episode. When I was listening to old episodes to research the 100th episode, I found a lot of fascinating things about the way I personally worked, the ideas we had back then, etc. It's funny to think of just how many actual clip shows could come from the content this podcast has racked up over the years. You do a great job on RFN and I think it's a testament with how quickly the existing RFN fan base took to you when you started and now of course. Keep up the great work!

@ploot

I can see you as having been the one to do that. It's been so long it's a bit hard to tell! My apologies good sir. Shall I edit a retraction? (I seriously could.) I'll have to go find the originals wherever those are and just post your solo perhaps…

@DrFinkelstein

Yeah, definitely not me. But you said it with enough conviction that I thought maybe it was me after all.

It's definitely "To the bridge!", by the way. Anyone who doubts that must not have been listening to much pop rap around that time. Hip hop hype men were always shouting about taking things to the bridge in those days.

Congratulations, pod people!

I just started listening, but it's good stuff so far. When I think about it, this is really the only podcast that speaks to me, y'know? Like, by name, and everything!

Honestly, I don't even remember starting that podcast thread. Come to think of it, I think that we almost got one going on the IGN Boards, as well, back in the day...

I was totally shocked to be tied for most guest spots. In spite of my that, though, this podcast has remained a consistently good listen for Nintendo fans. I respect that you guys have the drive to keep it going. Here's to 200! Do it for Koovaps!

(Regarding the title, I still think "Negative Worldview" was the way to go!)

I also wanted to add how proud I am to have been one of the blowhards in The Genesis Kids, the longest episode of the podcast.

Congratulations on the milestone. Proud to be there in the first episode. Sad that I only appeared in one other episode aside from that :(.

Originally wanted to participate more but alas life had other plans. Glad to see that it's still going though :)

Finally just finished the episode. Thanks for everything, guys, and for including me from time to time!

@ploot

You're so welcome. We love having you on. Perhaps you can still partake in future activities.

@CPA Wei

Life certainly has it's way of interrupting things but I'm pleased that you were on the show and on the very first in fact. It's nice to see you still posting here to this day.

@Anand

Thanks Anand!

Hey man, don't forget our awesome trip to Wegmans and our beer review!

We played Ticket to Ride, correct?

What a good time.

Glad I made it on the greatest hits album.

No problem. I like to think I helped keep some shows short and sweet.

Hopefully you'll have me again some day!

Indeed. I hope you'll continue to listen when we pick back up later this year. I hope this episode served as a wonderful reminder of all the good times and also a reminder of the fun to come.
