Excellent party game but a word of warning to people interested:

This is a local game that people play with their phones and the screen itself. However, in order for the phones to work the system needs internet access. As such the game requires:

1. Multiple people locally with a smartphone each
2. An Internet connection for the Switch so the phones can link with the game

If you have this stuff the game is a blast to play but don't go in thinking that all you need is the Switch and the game itself.

Yep. You need it to type in answers, draw etc.

On the game launch screen there is a 4 digit room code. Players go to jackbox.tv and enter in the room code which then links it to the game.

Noted for tomorrow's run of this game. I have an old phone I haven't traded in yet (will be this week). So that'll be a spare controller for now. Almost makes me want to keep it…

I played some of the first Party Pack a while ago. The phone thing was kind of annoying at times (especially when it wasn't necessary for a particular game), and the game quality was uneven, but it was a good time.

Is there movie trivia in these?

@carlosroxThere might be some movie references and questions in the trivia game but nothing with that focus.

This was so fun. I played only three of the five games but I had a blast today at an Easter celebration with the family.

Quiplash 2 (3-8 players)
The say-anything sequel. Play all new questions or make your own!

I only got to play one round of this but it was fun. My sister is not someone who likes to make stuff up on the fly but I know folks who would enjoy it. My nephew even had fun with it.

Trivia Murder Party (1-8 players)
A deadly quiz show where you match wits with a trivia-obsessed killer.

This was a really fun trivia game with a dark and funny theme. It's essentially YDKJ but it's got a Saw theme and the mechanism of ghosts and the living allow you to make last minute comebacks which make for intense experiences.

Guesspionage (2-8 players)
The brain-battering data-mining guessing game.

This was a lot more fun than my family was thinking it'd be. I was off by 1% on one of my guesses which surprised us all. As a data/stats guy, that was a favorite of mine.

We played with mainly 3 people but 4 at times. It was really fun but I can imagine it only gets more fun the more that are available. Using the phones as our answering devices was super easy and with pretty much everyone having a wifi-enabled phone or tablet of some kind these days, this is a rather accessible game.
