@Shadowlink

Yeah, that'd be a different story then.

@Shadowlink Yeah, that's how I'd picture it working.

Also yeah, I don't think there are any unique breakable weapons. You should be able to find anything somewhere in the world. If you took a picture of it, you can also use the sensor to search for it.

@Mop it up

I think I took a picture. I hope I did.

...Does it work even if the weapon in question may be in a closed chest? (Or inside a shrine?)

I assume there may be one floating inside another shrine somewhere. But still. Ugh.

I haven't found anything in a shrine chest that I haven't also found out in the world that I can tell.

@Cubed777

I've found clothing in a few shrine chests that I haven't found for sale out in the world, but it's possible I just haven't gotten to the areas that sell those clothes yet.

@Cubed777

I don't think the Climbing Gear is for sale anywhere.

@Kal-El814

It is. You gotta find the right dude, though.

The second DB and boss battle were both incredible. I really loved that boss. Much better than the first I did. I did Elephant first then the Bird. The music was wonderful there too, just like the first DB.

@carlosrox

The bird has been my favorite DB so far. Fun mechanic, fun boss fight. Not difficult or frustrating at all, just fun.

@kriswright
Yeah, a few of the rarer clothing sets are for sale later although they take some effort to get to. So if you missed a piece, you can always spend a lot of rupees to fill out your set.

@TheOldManFromZelda
I had this weird feeling I was cheating it though. It felt like it was easily exploitable.
03/28/17, 17:57
@kriswright

Really???? Who???? I've never found this person!
03/28/17, 18:06
@Kal-El814

If you really want to know: Finish Tarrey Town. A guy in one of the houses sells some rarer clothing items.
03/28/17, 18:43
@kriswright

Holy shit I never bothered walking into the houses after I finished other than for one quest. DUMMMMMMB

Also that seems like a really inconvenient time to get that gear. I lucked into getting a couple pieces pretty early, it's hard to imagine the game without having at least one or two on hand right away.
03/28/17, 19:44
@kriswright I thought these were available only after you found them somewhere else, as a way of replacing them if you lost them somehow. I can't confirm that though.
03/28/17, 21:20
Dang, finding these last few shrines has been a real challenge. Spent the last few nights doing nothing but exploring, and finally after several hours I stumbled across a shrine quest. Still two left to find, and I feel like there's not too many empty spaces on the map that I haven't been to yet. Finding tons of Korok seeds, though!

Awesome little Shrine Quest by Rito Village with a surprise of a Shrine to top it off. Nice little moments leading up to it. Wasn't expecting any of it. Very nice.
03/29/17, 02:40
@Mop it up

He definitely has gear I've never owned, though from sets where I own at least some of the items. So I don't know if that's just the way he operates or what. Maybe Kal can tell us once he finds him.
03/29/17, 02:47
@kriswright Ah. Well, I know for a fact that he does not have the Hylian Shield until it is found in the world, as he did not have it for sale until after I found it. But that one could be an exception, since it is a shield and not clothing.
03/29/17, 04:23
It's really incredible how fucking massive this game is.
