I loooooooooove this game! It makes me sad that we'll likely never see the same team make another one. If it hadn't been for the overuse of hint signs in the first half of the game I would probably have seen it as practically perfect. I mean, c'mon, this game has a hug button! That alone makes it worth praising!

The soundtrack is friggin' godly too.

There are several different worlds in the game, and each one of those has at least two or three different environment types, so that does get changed up. You'll also get to try out new types of jelly beans as you progress, and the puzzles will be switched up a bit all the way up until the end.

Got my corrupted Wii replaced last week, so now I'm playing A Boy and His Blob again, and wanted to remind the world that my opinions haven't changed. This game is fantastic! Such an underappreciated gem! I was kind of blown away now that I saw it in motion on my HDTV again for the first time in a while, 'cause it still looks absolutely beautiful!

I heard they were making a sequel to this game as a download-only title, not sure if it'll be the same developers though.

Sadly I don't think there's any chance it will be the same team even if Way Forward gets the job since the director and a few others went on to make Shovel Knight, and since the lead artist and another few others left to make Adventures of Pip.

It's not too late! I see this game in bargain bins and online offers from time to time; maybe you can pick it up for a few bucks somewhere? The Wii had a fantastic library, at least as far as I'm concerned. So many fun little niche games.
