Oh, also, I don't think it's been mentioned yet, but here are the patch notes for the April 13th update: http://www.nintendo.com.au/support/files/Splatoon_Upcoming_software_update_April_13_2016.pdfIt's got quite a few changes, so it's worth checking out! Most notable is that they've finally added some nerfs to the Splat Charger and E-liter, however they also gave each a rather generous buff for some reason, so they're still overpowered. Oh well, at least they've finally touched them. Then again, I'm not sure if there's really a way to balance these weapons without just removing them entirely. With all these changes to other weapons and abilities, I kind of feel like rollers have now become too weak. I think it's time to rebuff them back to the way they were (or close to it). Maybe also add a little more range to the regular Splat Roller. After all, these weapons got nerfed way too early, mostly based on feedback from the demo where so little of the content was available. All in all though, this update, combined with the ability update from last month, has resulted in an overall more balanced game. |
