The final phase of Round 1 is upon us and the final 16 starting Pokemon are revealed. This round has an organic feel with a hint of earth tones considering we’re now in the Earth Bracket. This bracket is named for the Earth Badge which is the final badge you receive in the Kanto Region prior to making your way up Victory Road and fighting the Elite 4! I think it’s fair to say that the Pokemon in this bracket do have their various connections to Earth and Nature. We’ve got otters and plants and boxers and bugs. There’s even a gourd! Arcanine vs. Shedinja Lugia vs. Vaporeon - Vaporeon looks cool but it's hard to justify ever using him IMO because there's other way better water Pokemon in the roster. Gourgeist vs. Toxicroak Gengar vs. Charizard
I don't really care if Charizard is overly popular. He's freaking Charizard. I love Gengar (never really got to use Mega Gengar) but Charizard is still awesome.
Lots of neck and neck races here… hopefully some more people vote! There's three people who have voted in past rounds who haven't yet here and it'd be cool if some new users around here would vote too. The more votes the merrier!
I don't want people counting votes here but right now we have an even amount of voters and one matchup is currently a tie. Will any last minute voters come to make their case before midnight?
If we're allowed to change votes, then I also change my vote from Fletchling to TWO FLETCHLINGS so we're back at a tie, I guess, and both Pokemon should go through.
Are you? Or is this an elaborate scheme where in I actually have two accounts here and am "fighting" with myself, playing the victim in order to get more people on my, and therefore Fletchling's, side?

I don't think you're clever/insane enough to come up with such a scheme . Pokémon Fight Club this aint.

Oh they have. I have other means of breaking the tie rather fairly. All tie's have broken. I'm going to post the next round this evening and it'll explain how I did it in there.
